  1. Some of revells kits. I know that their 37 ford kits have that option. Its 1/24 bit I have used a couple of those.
  2. I seem to remember a amt kit that had dual carbs and aircleaners, was it the chrysler 300. If you look at christine while shes on the assembly line she has different aircleaner assemblies than later in the movie when they are chrome. Also the belvedere scripts was supposed to be removed and either fury or belevedere was supposed to be on the decal sheet. So either model could be built. Is that true. I thought i read that from the show reports.
  3. I am starting a christine clone and am interested in who might make the resin induction set up for this kit. I am also going to use it on other 50's mopars and rods if i can find the intake, carbs, and aircleaners. Thanks.
  4. 2 clutches in my wifes v-6 05 mustang and 280,000 miles. But still running original front brakes. Of course she drives highway miles.
  5. Ok, so what kit do you have to rob to get the induction set up. Intake, carbs, and aircleaners.
  6. Just make a ss grill with the ss emblem and turnsignal lights as a separate optional piece. That should satisfy my laguna issue the rest i scratch build. Just a suggestion.
  7. Pegasus products makes those, i see them on ebay every now and then.
  8. Go to stevens hobby shop and go to amt listing. You will find a long list of new amt releases including the 69 chevelle convertible. Just no releases dates yet.
  9. When you see old kit chrome that has turned slightly yellow with age, can duplicate the chrome on a real car that has had the chrome plating rubbed down to the nickle copper which has a yellowish hue to it. I agree its little effects that add detail to the cars i see at contests and make them enjoyable to look at.
  10. According to the stevens hobby shop listing round 2 is going to reissue the 58 belvedere and the christine kit as separate reissues. Talk about getting the most of your molds. There is a lot of neT stuff coking from everyone. Im going to have to pawn my house, kids and cars just to afford 1 of everything i want.
  11. And to throw a wrench in the whole gear. I restore cars and in the case of late 40s and 50s cars one side could have stainless trim and the other side chrome trim. I took all the stainless of several parts cars when i restored my 53 caddy so i had stainless trim all the way around. Research, research, but remember keep it fun.
  12. Ok when do we get to see the unveiling.
  13. Thats too cool.
  14. Someone used to make resin two piece copies of carter carbs and there were two to the set i got a few but cant remember who sold them.
  15. I only want it for the carter carbs. Unless they are available in resin.
  16. Dug through my camaro decal selection and found enough to do a representation of the 70 t/a stripe up the hood and over the top and decklid. And use the hockey stick stripes on side so both makes are represented. Hopefully have it polished out and striped in a few days.
  17. Ok finally got the clearcoat on. Really brings out the color. After the clear sets up i will get the stripes on. Interior and engine are started. Should have more pictures soon now that i am starting to get steam up on projects now.
  18. Then what it needs is another "explosion proof" motor put in line of the exhaust tube to get more airflow. Hmmm. Thanks for info.
  19. I have seen one style on ebay that comes with the extractor hose. Its 89 dollars. Anybody know the quality of that one?
  20. Our d.c. delivery truck every week is a prostar and even in black its one of of the prettiest trucks i have seen in a long time. I like it even better than the lodestar they use and thats black as well. Ill take any new tooling tractor truck the old amt are getting long in the tooth. Keep up the good work dave. Cant wait. Btw.
