    I paid $290 for a Revell 1/4 slant six kit about 3 years ago- sold it for a little over $400 a month later. The most expensive kit I've actually built was a Doyusha 1/12 Lamborghini LP500S that I bought on sale for $65 in 1986

    The polish on the Keystone wheel is better than the Cragar wheel, at least in the pics above The Cragar wheel looks like it was "horsed", making it wavy when it's plated

    The wire wheels in the old Gunze Sangyo Jag XKE kit (not the hi-tech) are the best I've seen As far as accuracy goes, Fujimi Enthusiast Series Porsches are pretty hard to beat

    I learned more about Taco Bell's beef than I ever wanted to know after I broke a tooth on a piece of bone in a soft taco ~15 years ago. I wouldn't eat that stuff now if you paid me.

    I use lacquer for almost everything, except I like Testors spraycan flat black for wheelwells and the undersides of hoods and the like.

    Sorry, I just noticed you're asking about Testors enamel I would not clearcoat over them if your decals are tight and you're happy with the shine

    When you say "Tamiya paints" do you mean their acrylics or lacquers? Most solid-color Tamiya spray lacquers can be wetsanded and polished to a high gloss without needing to be clearcoated. However, clearcoating over decals makes the decal look like it was painted if done correctly, and also protects the decal.

    The front wheels are misaligned and the body sits lower on the passenger side. Otherwise it's a good portrayal of a style I'm not really fond of.
