  1. I like 5-minute epoxy best, but I've used CA without it fogging- the trick is to blow the vapor away while it cures. The moisture in your breath also makes it cure faster.
  2. Looks like a Sonoran gopher snake
  3. I think Future looks kind of thick and syrupy and prefer the appearance of sanded and polished lacquer
  4. I lived in Phoenix for 2 years and killed 2 rattlesnakes, saw one tarantula in his natural habitat (which was pretty cool), and killed hundreds of black widows- I can't remember ever seeing any scorpions in PHX, but I had one run across my leg at the trainyard in Raton, NM at midnight while I was waiting to hop a freight to Albuquerque
  5. Eugene Toy & Hobby has been in business over 70 years- I used to work next door They carry a good selection of model kits, supplies, and tools I've known the owners since they were teenagers working behind the counter, now their kids are working behind the counter.
  6. Call the fire department- the cops always want there to be a payday involved
  7. I prefer to hum quietly while I work
  8. That sounds like a lot of work
  9. I hear you there. My first 4-wheeled vehicle was a '51 Ford F1 pickup that I bought with money I made working on a cattle ranch when I was 15. It had a non-synchromesh 4-speed so I had to learn to double-clutch. After that experience, I think I could drive just about anything.
  10. "How Many More Times" rips off not one, but two blues artists- Albert King and Howlin' Wolf
  11. Every 4th of July my neighborhood is rife with drunken morons who seem bent on burning someone's house down with their illegal fireworks- it's like a war zone here. I used to enjoy this holiday, now I can't wait for it to be over.
  12. Ain't that the truth- that's why we're called "home-moaners"
  13. This summer I have to build a fence, replace some siding, fix my old 2-stroke streetbike, and do some major work on my car At least that's the plan
  14. ^That looks really nice Is the top masking tape?
  15. Maybe they'll actually pay some taxes
  16. "Red sky at morning, sailor take warning!"
  17. Lion's Mane mushrooms have been very helpful with my own nerve issues I tore all the nerves off my right deltoid in a motorcycle crash in '08 and after a year of weekly physical therapy to build up alternative muscles I could barely touch the top of my head- on the advice of a friend I started eating Lion's Mane mushrooms, both in freeze-dried capsule form and also fresh mushrooms that I grew myself. Within a few months, my nerves regenerated, my deltoid started working again, my nerve pain level dropped to the point where I was able to discontinue all prescription medication and I had full range of motion. You should really check them out
  18. Jeweler's saw blades are pretty fragile, you just have to go easy, lube them with beeswax and let the blade do the work.
  19. I'd say it would depend on the business owner's personal ethics Not everything is about money, nor should it be
  20. A jeweler's saw is the ticket for that
  21. I think that's just the color of the EZ-Off itself as I see that every time I use it.
  22. I spray transparent blue over buffed-out metalizer and it looks like blue foil
