  1. Wow, what an amazing build. I never would have thought a Thunderbolt would make such a cool lowrider. Love those curb feelers. Stunning work Erik, congrats!
  2. Thanks a lot fellas. The T/A's have always been one of my favorite Mopars.
  3. Very sharp build Carl, that shade of blue is gorgeous and suits the 'bird well.
  4. That is one clean build. Very nice work Ken!
  5. Thanks for sharing these as well Clifford, they are beautiful.
  6. Wow, outstanding work Clifford! You really nailed the look. I would never have imagined that it was a 30 year old build. I think those old Gal's look mean as well. Congrats!
  7. Now that's some out of the box thinking. I love it. The patina is very convincing, great work Chuck.
  8. a few more pics.... Thanks for looking.
  9. After a long hiatus, I'm finally back with my first completed model since last winter. I had hit a major builders block about 2/3rds of the way through the Challenger. I had to take a step back from the hobby completely and let time refresh my interest and desire to build again. Well, a couple weeks ago, I started getting the bug again and pulled this project back out and finished it. It's painted Model Masters Sublime Green, and was polished out with MCW's Buff EZ and Final Finish. I did the usual plumbing underhood and added a blower motor to the firewall. The tire lettering are decals I had laying around. Body-wise, all I modified was filling in the seam where the front splash pan mounts to the body and scribed in the correct location for the pan. Also, I trimmed down the "B-pillars" to about half their original size for a better appearance. OOB they looked like the size of redwood trees to me. I filled in the seam on the hood scoop as well. This kit went together with ease and no issues, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. There are a few areas I will touch up yet, but other than that I'm calling it done. On with the pictures.....
  10. Wow, I haven't seen a built up version of this kit in a long time. Sorry about the paint mishap, but hey, the vinyl top looks great on it. I love it, nice work.

    1956 Ford

Very cool build Jim, excellent work.
  12. I gotta agree with the others, that old Falcon does look great. Very nice work. It gives me a little more inspiration to dig out one of mine and start slapping it together.
  13. Yep, that's a good lookin' Camaro, well done. It's nice to see a 67 built and posted, thanks for sharing it with us. The 67 and 68's are my favorites as well. 69's are nice, but they're like bellybuttons, everyone's got one.
  14. Another outstanding build Tulio! At first I thought I was looking at a real car. That chassis detailing is spot on, and love it. Congrats on an awesome build!
  15. Well done, Mauricio, that is a beautiful Corvette.
  16. Both are amazing builds, nice work. I love that color on the GTX. I'd have to give the nod to the Torino, being a Ford guy myself, but the 70 GTX/Road Runners were some of the best looking cars from the era IMHO......it's nearly a dead heat for me.
  17. Great looking Shelby, and that is some shine on that paint. Beautiful, simply beautiful.
  18. Very sharp little Falcon there. Nice work.
  19. Krylon's Ruddy Brown primer is a decent match.
  20. Nice build Ray. The black wheels really go well with that orange.
  21. Sharp build, and great paint! Very nice.
  22. Excellent start. The 57's make such great looking gassers.
  23. Wow, that is just flat-out stunning! Easily the best '69 Mustang I've seen built. All the details are perfect. Nice touch adding the rev limiter and solenoid. I'm planning on building a '69 Boss 302 someday as well, and if it turns out half as good as yours, I'll be thrilled. Congrats on a job well done!
  24. From what I can recall (I built mine over ten years ago) it mostly revolved around the tight fitment of the engine and front chassis during final assembly. I can remember that being a challenge, trying not to break stuff. The front valence panel was a bit wide, too, and could have been narrowed up some, though I didn't mod mine. Overall it was a great kit though, maybe it was just my dumb luck with the few finicky fitment issues.
  25. Beautiful build Mark, and an even better story to go with it.
