  1. Great build, I dig the 4x4 conversion.
  2. Love the color, too. Definitely looks the part. These old AWB kits sure are fun even with their crazy simplicity.
  3. Wow what beautiful paint work! Great looking build for sure, congrats!
  4. Finished this one up a few weeks ago. Not my best work but still happy with it. Pretty much just a box stock build with the exception of enlarging the rear wheelwells from their stock configuration, and opening up the header ends. The decals gave a little grief and tore in a couple places but it is what it is, she still looks good on the shelf. Thanks for looking and any comments/questions.
  5. That is a beautiful paint job, as is the whole build. Removing so much of the chrome trim really showcases the great lines on the car. Well done!
  6. That's a clean build, and wears that green well. Creative solution for the red centers on the the wheels, that looks great. Congrats!
  7. Ooohhh that's nice! Great work on that tri-tone paint scheme. It's great to see one of these built up, I've got a sealed one I may just crack open this winter, your's is giving me inspiration. Thanks for sharing!
  8. Very sharp! You nailed the stance. Have one to build myself someday.
  9. Outstanding build, Gil! Love those colors and wheel choice. Top notch work!
  10. Welcome to the forum, Chris. Lots of excellent builders and folks here, the wealth of knowledge and info available here is crazy. I love being out in West River, I try to get in a trip to the Black Hills at least once a year. In fact, was just there three weeks ago. Beautiful country!
  11. Thanks again guys! They are from Indycals. He has several different liveries to choose from.
  12. Thanks guys!
  13. Now that is a beautiful finish, and you chose one of my favorite Ford colors. Beautiful attention to the details. Well done!
  14. Nice to see a 4-eyed Fox. Good looking build that wears yellow well.
  15. Fantastic build, Bill! Sounds like a lot of work but it sure was worth it. That's an absolute classic of a movie, can't count how many times I've watched it.
  16. ^^This^^ What a beauty and thanks for sharing!
  17. Beautiful Goats Randy!
  18. I like this one a lot. The subtle weathering is spot on. Big fan of your color choice too. Well done!
  19. Finished this up yesterday, and had started it during my Dick Brannan AFX Mustang build. Tamiya kit, exceptional fit and finish as usual. It might just be the easiest going build I've ever tackled, a real pleasure. Paint is Tamiya Pure White. Box stock with decals from Indycals. I had lots of problems with the rear bumper stripes decal as they just would not conform and lay down decently with all the curves and corners. I tried my best for quite some time, but in the end had to concede defeat and accept how they are. All other decals went on fine. The ones on the rear spoiler and interior are from the kit. Even with said setbacks with the decals, I really like how it turned out and love this livery. Thanks for looking and any comments or questions.
  20. And now the ones that have been featured in Wheel Hub Magazine, with a couple others that were inside, and a McLaren that was parked out in front of the entrance.
  21. Thought I'd share some pics from this event which took place May 26. Wheel Hub Magazine and the museum collaborated together for this show, which included a cars & coffee outside. Was a terrific inaugural event, with about 1,200 vehicles attending. A lot of sharp rides of all varieties. I had been to the museum last year as well, and it is absolutely mind blowing how much stuff they have in there. I highly recommend visiting it if you're ever in the Lincoln area, you will not be disappointed. Here's a link to their website for those interested... https://www.museumofamericanspeed.com/ I haven't posted any pics from the museum itself, but rather just the cars that were in attendance for this event. I could if there's interest. Lot's of pics to come, was hard to weed it down but probably still too many LOL!
  22. That is one cleanly built model. You don't see these built all that often. Well done and thanks for sharing!
  23. Oh man is that ever nice! Beautiful execution on all the mods & details. You really knocked it outta the park.
  24. Wonderful build of such a cool, historic, drag car.
