  1. That is simply incredible work!! Beautiful model, the interior looks just as nice as the 1:1.
  2. Not generally a fan of lowered 57's but with the speedster center section ( especially the sweeping windshield) it looks fantastic!! Definitely the right look for the car, very cool idea!!
  3. I am using Tamiya white putty to fill in locator holes and the hood blower opening cut outs on an AMT nomad. After several costs of putty and sanding I was ready for primer. I used Tamiya fine sandable primer in three mist coats only to find that the putty had lifted or expanded causing me to sand down the putty. I am now ready to prime again but am kind of leery of using the Tamiya primer. Was this lifting a fluke or is it normal, and has anyone else experienced this. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!
  4. Amazing work Mark, everything looks fantastic!! What is the plate on the left side of the motor that looks like a delete plate?

  17. Great job on the truck!! I've done the old Bigfoot truck and have the old USA-1 in my stash and have been thinking of picking up the Rammunition truck. Your great build has convinced me that I need to get one!

  19. Looking to build the 1/16th AMT 55 Nomad for my wife (she loves wagons). Plan on using Scalefinishes glacier blue over skyline blue. Thinking about using a TDR small block chevy engine and headers. Has anyone built this model or used the TDR products, and if so any opinions or recommendations? Also, are there any other 1/16th scale small block chevy engines that are better than the one in the AMT kit that could be used instead of using the TDR engine?
