  2. Like you Aaron I have a few of these PL kits in my stash, but unlike you I haven't had the guts to try one yet! Your sweet build shows how nice they can turn out. Great job!!!
  3. Looking really nice Chris, the front end looks a whole lot better!! Also, thanks to Jesse for the header tip, such a simple fix that makes a big difference.
  4. Fantastic job on this build!! Did you strip all the chrome and use alclad? Everything looks very clean and well built.
  5. John simply amazing work as usual!! Hey I have a question about your parachutes on previous builds: what do you make the attachment cords out of and where do you attach them on a funny car? Thanks John!
  6. That is a fantastic looking car. Excellent job on engine details!!
  7. WOW John that body is simply beautiful!! Great job, looking forward to seeing it in person next month.
  8. Holy cow Chris, 17 years and its not finished yet!! There's hope for me and my incredibly slow building habit! Seriously, that is an amazing looking dragster. Didn't I see this a year or two ago at DSC on the display table? It will be nice to see it finished next month, you've inspired me to get my two wrapped up before the contest.
  9. Great pictures Mike, looked like there was some great looking models. Hopefully next year I can make it there, thanks for sharing your pictures.
  10. Can silly putty be used over a painted surface as a making agent, or will the putty pull the paint off with it? I'm going to be putting it on tamiya acrylic flat black.
  11. Very nice build, great job on the decals, having built this before I know those decals are a nightmare!!

    Orange Roaster

WOW, that is a sweet looking build, great job!!
  13. I have a question for all the drag racing builders out there. I'm doing a Snowman Vega and want to add the parachute connection cords that attach the parachute to the frame (I assume that's where they attach). My questions are: what kind of material do you use for the cord, how do they attach to the chute and frame, and where do they attach on the frame? Thanks guys
