  1. Fantastic looking fade job on the body, very nice!!
  2. Amazing framework John!! Couple of questions: did you use a jig for the frame and do you drill and pin all the individual frame pieces or do you just glue them together?
  3. Nice looking truck, you did a great job of representing the 1:1 truck!
  4. The silver was a great choice for that truck, really nice build. That is such a great kit, it goes together real well
  5. Holy cow Chris!! That, like the rest of the build, is just simply amazing. You trying to get it finished for the DSC?
  6. Love the paint job, it looks like a nice clean build!
  7. HOLY COW!! This looks like the start of another ridiculously fantastic build.
  8. I don't see this helping an already fan unfriendly sport. Get rid of the Chase, go back to original points system, and make the drivers and the sport as a whole more fan friendly. I'll stick to drag racing, although it has become a corporate nightmare EVERY ticket is a pit pass giving you a chance to meet your favorite driver. In nascar you buy an over priced ticket for a good seat and then have to buy an over priced ticket to get a pit pass.
  9. Great job, paint and decals look extremely well done. Very nice looking model!!
  10. Clay, thank you for sharing your great build, you do amazing work. I used your Dodge NASCAR truck photos to assist my build of a Darrell Waltrip truck. Your documentation was extremely helpful!!
  11. Great looking interior and paint job!! That is a sweet looking ride.
  12. John, incredible work as always!! Your level of detail and craftsmanship is stunning, thank you for sharing your in progress photos also.

  15. Great looking el camino!! Love the stance, wheels, and paint color. Very nice job!
  16. I'm working on a Snowman Vega, I have the body painted and am now ready to do the bumpers in alclad chrome. I want to clear the body, my question is should I apply the clear before spraying the alclad (taping off the bumpers) or can the alclad chrome be cleared along with the body?
  17. John: just looked in on this one today and went through all 15 pages, as usual your work is amazing!! Looking forward to seeing it in person at DSC. I wish I had a tenth of your talent!
  18. That is a fantastic build, all it needs is a driver and its easy to fire up!! Great job!!
  19. Gotta love el caminos!!! Great looking color and sweet motor!! I wish my 1:1 71 el camino looked this good.

    1967 Camaro

Great looking Camaro, the paint job looks terrific!! Silver isn't always very easy to get smooth and even looking (at least for me).

  22. Had the Route 66 Fun Run car show yesterday here in Kingman, AZ and it was sunny and 85 degrees, cold front moved in so today was only 75 degrees.
