  1. This is what 1,414 HP sounds like...
  2. Surely they could've built/printed something a little less uglier... ??
  3. The wheels are Aoshima 19in Kranze LXZ's
  4. Then why didn't you just make the title, '70 Cuda pro-touring? Makes no difference whether it's an AAR clone or not.
  5. Nothin's coming up with that link, Greg?
  6. Sorry, I'm confused... If it's NOT a 1970 Cuda, then what is it?
  7. Keen on how it turns out... I'm interested in getting Modelhaus's 70 resin charger... ?
  8. No prob' Steve... I think I also missed the "new" just before Challenger ?? Lol BTW... I have that colour ( Furious Fuscia ) in my paint stash, awaiting a Mopar build ??
  9. Moulin Rouge / Panther Pink wasn't a limited edition colour. It was available just like any other colour, through 1970-71. It IS a rare colour though because not a lot of guys wanted to be seen driving a pink car... ? The most popular colour from that era, according to Mark Worman ( Graveyard Cars & Mopar restorer ) was Plum Crazy ( Dodge ) In-Violet ( Plymouth ) Cheers
  10. Too bad it's in Melbourne... I wanna see that wickedly AWESOME 68 Charger, in the flesh!! Got that month's issue just to get the poster of the Charger! ??
  11. While I understand this car's beauty, pedigree, rarity etc & the fact some really, really, really rich person IS going to buy it... I just think $60 MILLION for a car... Things are just getting stupidly ridiculous.... ??
  12. Didn't know it was missing... ? Lol
  13. I don't know if he's still a member here but I had some custom decals made, which were awesome, made for me by Greg Holland. I don't know his member name unfortunately, so Greg if you're still here... Looks like you're needed ?? Cheers Cliff
  14. Considering the Monaco/force 440 is a B-body & the Cuda is an E-body, wouldn't you be better off, accuracy wise, to use the 71 amt Charger chassis/engine etc? I know it fits quite well... I've used the 71 Charger's parts on the 4-door Monaco ??
  15. ?? Because Stone Cold Steve Austin said SO! Lol! ??
  16. You sure love your Ferraris Janos! ??? Beautiful!
  17. Nice! I just got the Tamiya La Ferrari myself. Didn't know Revell had their La Ferrari out yet? ??
  18. Aren't we all? Wish they'd hurry up! I'd say ROG would be most likely to kit it...
  19. I believe the sno-white car is also the ONLY 1 of the 11 that came optioned WITHOUT the billboard call-out decal? That would have to add to it's value for sure ?
  20. News just in... The World's most valuable stamp, the 1865 British Guiana one-cent Magenta, sold at Sotheby's auction in New York yesterday for $9.5M! Pffffft... ? I'd rather have 3 1971 Hemi 'Cuda convertibles for that Kind've cash! I'd at least be able to drive one of them ?? Lol
  21. Again... Exactly. It's no longer an asset to be used as it's original purpose. It's now an asset of investment. Today it sold for $3.5M... In 5yrs it could very well sell for double that. I'd say that's a good profit ? I don't see what the difference is between a 1 of 1 Hemi 'Cuda convertible & all those rare Ferraris, Bugattis etc... No one bats an eyelid when a rare car like those go for $10M... $25M... But this 'Cuda sells for $3.5M... & the person who bought it is... Nuts? ?
  22. That's cool mate... Everyone has their own personal want/wish list. If we all wanted the same thing/car/list, then the really rare cars would be way more expensive than they are. ?? I currently have all the cars on my list... It's just that they're 1:24-1/25 in scale ?? Lol
  23. http://mecum.com/news.cfm Here's the car... http://mecum.com/lot-detail.cfm?LOT_ID=WA0614-185434 Just sold for a record $3.5 Million... Well worth it I say ?
  24. While businesses are in the business to make a profit, which is quite ok with me & most others, some businesses, such as my local HS, have taken profiteering & have turned it into... Greed. Just be glad none of you who love this hobby live down here in Australia. My LHS, located in Newcastle, NSW, is a down right rip off. In the 5.5yrs I've lived up here I've only bought 3 kits, out of necessity, because it's far cheaper to buy off the internet, be it from Japan/USA or Europe, even with shipping costs, as high as they are - especially the USA. ( No idea why ?? Though ) Here's a few examples... Tamiya kits... La Ferrari, Aston Martin DB9, Nissan GTRs ( latest kits ) - $80-85au. The BRZ/FT86 - $50au. Most American kits.. $35-$45au. Revell Germany $40-50au. Alcad regular size bottles $13.99, large bottles $17.99. Tamiya spray cans $13-16.00. I only ever buy supplies from them & it's quite rare when I do. Mostly just Alcad paints/micro mark sanding clothes pack. To put it into perspective, I just purchased the Fujimi Lamborghini Veneno, Tamiya La Ferrari & a set of HD wheels + shipping for $109au, from HLJapan. Mind you the shipping cost $26au, more than the Veneno kit ? Greedy retailers/LHS are the major reason why the hobby is dying ( rapidly ) on this side of the pond. ? And I for one won't be shedding any tears when they are gone ( LH shops ) for good. Like i said... Be happy you ONLY pay what you do on your side of the pond. ?
