  1. Ditto! ? Pics are fine! As are the stock rims in the bigger Pegasus rims/tyre combo' ?? Cliffo
  2. Cool ? I'm Doing exact same thing... Putting the Spyder's V10 into the Coupe ?? What do they say about great minds thinking alike? ?? Lol I agree about the stock V10 wheels... They'd look pretty sick "deepened-out" ?? My coupe is actually all decked out in triple black ... Lol ?? Cheers Cliff
  3. I've built the Spyder ( twice! ) & have an on going WIP with the coupe. I think the differences in the vanes/side moldings are because the Coupe is the V8 & an earlier version & the Spyder came out much later & Revell kitted it with the V10. Personally I'd go with the ( Hobby-Design ?) wheels on the coupe & the V10 wheels on the Spyder. The stock wheels for the coupe are just too small & not "blingy" enough, just my opinion though. I'd skip white ( for a colour ) just too plain, these beauties deserve a colour that will truly show them off ?? I'm liking what you're doing though... Great start ??? Cheers
  4. I'm with Harry ?? Love the model... Don't get this "stanced " rubbish. Kinda like that "DONKey" thing, cars with impractical 30in rims! ? Utterly pointless/useless. Astons are some of the most gorgeous cars ever made, including the DB9, & to do this to a real 1:1 Aston... That's just... Unholy! Cheers & well done on your build champ ?? Cliff
  5. I'm a Mopar guy through & through but I'm not huge on superstock/gassers etc, so I'm just guessing here.... I know the motor's are 426s & Max-Wedges... So I'd have to say maybe the Lindberg Colour-Me-Gone/Lawman/Belvedere kits, for the headers in first pic ? ... As for the 2nd pic... No idea ?? I'm not familiar as to what kits are still avail' but maybe an Altered-Wheelbase Mopar?
  6. Bad spelling? Entails... Not entales. Views not veiws. ( i before e except after c ? ) Replies is the plural for reply. ??
  7. You sound very convincing Matt ?... Might just have to get 1 now... I actually think black might compliment all those messy body lines... ?? Might swap the "Toyota" V10 for a Viper V10 eh? Lol! Cheers & again... Superb job all round Matt ?? Cliff
  8. ?? for each build Matt! Awesome work on all, particularly that paint job on the LFA. I've long considered getting this kit but as yet I haven't, mainly because I'm not a big fan of the body-lines... The styling just looks all over the place, messy, you know? Is it really worth getting? Cheers Cliff ??
  9. Brandon, mate I'm currently building this kit & I've struck a hurdle... The ***** suspension!! I can't seem to work out how or where the shock-absorbers are mounted using Fujimi's instructions! They're insanely confusing! It's NOT ? an easy kit to put together I tell ya! ? Do you happen to have any WIP pics? Oh btw... Great build mate!! ?? Mine's not being built a total stock version, but all the suspension is standard. ? Cheers & thanks Cliff
  10. Very cool & clean Cuda, Tom! ? I just can't help thinking that that beautiful blue would "pop" so much more if the rims were kept stock chrome ?? Cheers Cliff
  11. Really great idea & execution except for those wheels ? If you have other sets ( smaller ) I'd change them & it would really be far better ?? Once again... Cool work/build Cheers Cliff
  12. You know I'll be getting a couple of those ???
  13. Awesome! Loved it! ???? Yeeee...Haaaaa!
  14. Cool ? You going to do it in those colours ( Black/Red ) or others?
  15. Be a bit difficult opening the hood with the decal not sectioned, don't ya think? ?
  16. I didn't purchase the Veneno because I was under the impression the kit was full curbside? This new version you say has an engine? Is it worth buying now? What is your opinion of the kit on a whole?? Cheers & thanks, Cliff
  17. It's not called a Viper Venom... Pretty sure it's just Venom?
  18. Cool cars for sure ? ... Holy Grail? No. ? To a Pontiac guy, maybe ? Many more cooler & rarer muscle cars out there... Some found... Some still waiting to be found. $325K apiece is quite a lot but when it's a really rare "holy grail" car, the price would & has been in the million/s. Just read about a restored 1964 GT40 Prototype changing hands @ Mecum Auto Auctions for $7million... I guess Rawlings should go back to Holy Grail school ??
  19. I think repair bills in general are more closely associated to labor rather than parts. Well it is down here mate ??
  20. Anyone else seen this? I thought it was pretty cool ? & funny ?? http://www.therideofherlife.com
  21. I believe it's *whether* rather than +weather+ ?? Yes I think we, everyone in this model-building hobby, have at some point & will continue to have similar or exact same thoughts. Although I don't fully agree that "everyone" brings a lot to the table, there are many that do. Not just here but on a lot of other forums to. Some builds are just mind blowing... Some are just clean... Fun etc & then there are those that are... Well... Eyesores. No effort... Lack of experience... Lack of knowledge etc. etc. Warranted, & here's my idea/point, most of those that are not very well built or look amateur-ish are mainly built by... Amateurs/newbies/rookies... Whatever you'd like to call them, right? Most decent people here, when they KNOW a build has been completed by a newbie, give advice on how to make a better model... Or if they DON'T know it's been built by a newbie, say nothing at all or talk-up the model like it's awesome.... When in reality it's pretty darn woeful. Maybe it's just me, maybe it's not just me, but I don't praise a build with words like... Awesome! Well done! Fantastic! Really good! If the model is the opposite to all of those descriptions... My idea/suggestion to the admin' here is... How about they introduce a "Newbies" build section? Where the new guys/girls can post their WIPs/completed builds? That way everyone else knows all the models in this section are made/built by people that have just gotten into the hobby?? That way we can help them, advise them etc... When asked??
  22. Lol! ??
  23. Sweet Bull, Janos! ?? I've got 1 on the bench myself ? Guys this kit is by Fujimi. There are at least 3 different box-art versions but the kit is the same in all except the wheels in the SE version. The engine is semi-curbside like most Fujimi kits. The block is molded into the engine bay with the top parts of the engine seperate. It is a sweet easy kit. Besides the window issue you must be careful handling it because the A-pillar is very thin... I've snapped it twice, both sides on previous attempts to build it... But I haven't given up yet ?? Here are at least 2 box-art versions of the kit along with my WIP... Here are the wheels that come in the SE version & the engine bay/semi-block that comes in all the kits. Cheers Cliff
