  1. Had a go at making a splitter... needs some fine tuning but it'll look cool. I'll get some work done on the GT350H soon, I promise.. This one is just fun because I can have some creativity with it. They're gonna be very cool together...
  2. So, after finally getting some bench time, and cranking on the tunes.. I managed to squeeze those GT40 wheels under the non GT350H, after some modifications.. And having to change the front tyres to some from a Mk3 Golf, and then putting the GT40 front tyres onto the back. But I think it looks cool and was worth the work!
  3. Finally got some bench time tonight, so I got to work on the GT350H interior.
  4. Okay, so I got some work done on these two. They're now two rolling chassis'. Only part missing from the pile was the shocks or whatever ya call 'em that connect to the rear leaf springs, so I'm happy enough with that! This is them on the body... I'm tempted to modify the custom one to fit these Ford GT40 wheels, what do you guys think? I think it looks kinda cool. They're just sitting underneath the body at the minute. The other will be a standard GT350-H. Thanks for lookin', all comments appreciated!
  5. Awesome, paint looks great. Very kind of you to give it away, too.
  6. @Andrew: These are the wheels I have in the bundle of parts, are they what you're after...? All of the wheels seem to be very crisply molded.
  7. Hahah thanks everyone! Well, I think, THINK I have enough here to get two mustangs out of it. Some notation to make sure I remember... My plan is to build a GT350H standard, and then a Mustang done to how I would have one. Well, one that isn't a Shelby anyway, hahah. So already I've got started on making the bumpers nice and joined... One irk I do have is with the fastback panels. There seems to be terrible fitment. Any advice on this??? Cheers everyone!
  8. I had to stall the 206 build due to lack of reference pictures. When I eventually get the ones I need, I'll continue on with it. Till then, there's been a bit of an elephant in the collection, and it's been a pile of 3 '66 Mustangs that are all muddled up. I've been deliberately avoiding them, but I'm in the mood to build something American and these are fitting the bill nicely for something cool. I hope to get two good Mustangs out of this pile of muddled parts. First, I need to see exactly what I have, and hopefully that'll be doable.. Wish me luck... ...gulp.
  9. I likes it. Been meaning to pick this kit up, it's dead cheap. Not sure how I'd do one, though.. But I do have an original RX-7 (not sure on the F designation for that.. I know this is an FD and the one before it is an FC, but I've never heard the mk1 being called an FB...) Clean build.
  10. I prefer Queens myself, but Welcome to Sky Valley and And The Circus Leaves Town are two of my favourite albums ever.
  11. Here's one that's not Sophie for a change, as much as I'd love her to cover every song ever to make it perfect... Queens of the Stone Age - White Wedding. A totally different style from the original. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5CeseRvBhKA
  12. This is looking awesome, pretty much how I'd have one. I personally think the hood looks great but to each their own... I've never built this Camaro kit, contemplating getting one, does it go together well?
  13. Thanks! The exhaust wrap took bloody ages. Lots of masking tape sliced up with a model knife and sliced up, then painted XF-56 (I think...) and wrapped on. Think it took me about 2 and a half hours. Worth it.
  14. Kits are fine, I went to Germany and took a load of Revell Kits home in my suitcase and hand luggage.
  15. I had a half hour or so to spare today so I tried to make a little bit more progress. I made the curly wire thing for the steering wheel, fuel lines and a couple more wires on the foot rest thing. Unfortunately I don't have many reference pics of where wires and things are in the interior... When I have time I'll go back and tidy things up a bit, like the dots on the foot rests.
  16. I'm a lover of Mopars, I'd have to give it a shot... Also have a Shelby 289 engine here, but hey I've never done a hot rod so who knows how I'll decide to do it! Quite looking forward to getting this kit now actually
  17. That's beautiful. Love the XJ220, it's so odd seeing it done in a totally different style. Paintwork is flawless, well done. I didn't know a kit other than the Tamiya one existed..
  18. This is an album I discovered when it came out last year, when I randomly gave it a shot based on the album art, and reignited a flame with an artist I had grown up with but long forgotten about, who now has a completely different style. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Wanderlust (2014) Eastern European influences combined with folk tales and waltzes. It's really eclectic and you either love it or you hate it but I absolutely adore it and totally fell in love with the album from the first listen. It's a mixture of pop music and folk music, all sung by a beautiful posh english accent. For example, this one's about a witch that steals people's souls and immortalises them in photographs. Lovely. Video's pretty cool too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmPM-LZ-6y8 Highly recommend the album. Was my favourite album of 2014 by far.
  19. I very much love these two covers by Sophie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Q5UWPMncNE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6MdiDvLeSw She can make any song better. Fact.
  20. Hahah thank you! It was a restoration project by myself and my father.. There's a thread on here showing the restoration! You can find it on my content on my profile
  21. Thanks Andre, Robin and Chris! Tamiya has multiple 206s... There's the one I'm doing now, this one: this one: This one: this one: And then the one I built 3 years ago:
