  1. Very nice car, Richard - this is the first one I see as a completed model : period perfect !!!
  2. It's quality, not quantity that counts! Excellent rust and grime on this hard-working pickup looks very REAL!
  3. Great build of a rather ugly truck, Brian - very well done (and nice photos, too) !
  4. Could be used in a San Franciscan car chase (like in Bullitt) - Welly's is airborne, Maisto's has landed hard on the asphalt....
  5. This is by far the best build of this kit I have seen yet. After reading a lot of negative comments on the quality of this kit, I sold mine (got the minichamps 1/24 die-cast for a very good price)
  6. Absolutely my thoughts - it looks like a real rig on the parking lot of a big truck stop !
  7. Some great builts, Matt - I especially like your TR4 (it is my favorite British roadster) - if that only qould be available in 1/24 (Gunze missed it - stopped with the TR3 A) - this would be a great one for Tamiya...
  8. No, this is one of the two GT40 MK II Prototypes prepared by Kar Kraft (Ford subsidiary run by Roy Lunn) for Le Mans 1965 with the big 427 engine. Both were leading early in the race, but dnf due to transmission problems. But they showed the direction for 1966 (BIG engine!)
  9. Super nice racing Fords !!!
  10. Outstanding Pontiac !! And unbelievable truck/tractor with Power shovel - expecially when you look at the crude original model - fantastic!
  11. I second that! Very nice !!!

Very nice models, Anders - I especially like the P4 from the Daytona 67 in its after-race-look, the Porsche 356 and the De Soto Adventurer.
  13. Very nice looking Cobra, Ben (I just happened to discover it per incident)
  14. You did it again, KJ - fantastic build that looks so real... These needle-nose Petes are my all-time favourites since I saw the movie "duel" in the early 70's: really awesome with excellent photos !!!
  15. Very nice - I will keep the pics as a reference when doing mine.
  16. The best model of this kit - very well used, but not abused - it captures that after-race-look very well !
  17. x 2 - absolutely !
  18. Great-looking wrecker, Warren - nice to see a Brockway here !
  19. I really cannot understand how Altaya/Hachette gets the bodies of their 1/43 and 1/24 models correct (at least to my eye) - and totally misses the roofline and rear of the 1/8 - how about that? What's up with them???
  20. well done, Paul - I've never seen this one built - color looks like the Dubonnet red of my Danbury mint DB5.
  21. Great-looking pair of GT racers, Brizio !
  22. rather boring "new" releases - nothing of interest for me here...
  23. x 2 ! What he said: very nice oldie, Ken!
  24. x 2 - it could easily be mistaken for the real thing !
  25. You might also try Patto's place in Australia: http://members.optusnet.com.au/pattosplace/home.html Click on decals "T" and one of the first is Mobiloil Tanker Truck in several scales (1/43 comes close) Second possibility is DMC decals from Denmark/Europe: http://www.dmc-decals.dk/41677920 They have lots of decals for 1/50 die-cast trucks (scale is even closer to 1/48) - among them also vintage Mobil. Both offer good, reliable service - I've ordered from both several times and can definitely recommend them.
