  1. x 2 - absolutely! One question, Gary: are the bumpers already chromed? Tom Tanner in the Ferrari chat forum says yes but 2 weeks ago I watched one on ebay and the pics showed NOT a single chromed part: no headlight buckets and no bumpers:
  2. you've done it again, Jürgen - but 500 hours ? I never had the patience (nor the ability) for this degree of perfection !
  3. x 2 - very good looking KW !!!
  4. x 2: absolutely !!! I like classic Ferraris in other colors than the ever-present red much more.
  5. I think that this is a modified ESCI Miura. That was so bad that I sold it long time ago before Hasegawa came out with their perfect proportioned Miura SV. Though ESCI's was an earlier version (with the "eyelashes" around the headlights) they got it totally wrong.
  6. I know, but this one is out of reach for me financially - I was hoping for Italeri all these years, but....
  7. As Italeri possesses the former Protar dies (they released several of their 1/9 bike kits and some other kits) I'm sure that this is the ex-Protar kit (as is the Alfa Giulietta/Giulia Spider)
  8. I have several each of those, but .... you can't have enough of classic Ferraris! If someone would release a 250 GT/L (Berlinetta LUsso)!!!
  9. I believe they will be simplified reissues - like their Dino 246 and their Countach kits which had about half as much parts as the enthusiast models had (about 115 instead of more than 250 IIRC). For instance, the RS Dino kit has lower engine components molded into the floor pan, It does not include a detailed engine, just the exhaust tubes and oil sump; so you have to glue the engine cover shut = a very detailed but nevertheless curbside kit. I expect those 911 Porsches to be of the same kind.
  10. Very nice 356 Speedster - those are really highly detailed (almost over-engineered) kits that need a lot of patience but are worth it - as your Porsche shows! - I have several EMs in my stash (all different versions: 5 Dinos, 4 Daytonas, 4 Porsche 911s, 4 Porsche 356s, 1 Countach LP400 S and 1 Stratos) but built so far only one Dino 246 GT about 30 years ago!

    Ford GT

NIce build, Tim, with great details - how was the kit (Tamiya, I suppose) ? I must admit, I don't like the body line much - it looks "too modern" for my taste - probably because I'm a big fan of the mid-to late 60's "original" Ford GT...
  12. Exactly what I thought by myself - the color suits perfectly, and the tan interior too! I have put thiskit aside some years ago because I didn't like it - but now I've got the idea - your color choice is great !!!
  13. x 2 : Excellent build as always, Jürgen !
  14. Absolutely - outstanding !!!
  15. Great collection, Dave ! I really like Chaparrals, especially the 2 D ('66 Nürburgring winner) and the 2 F ('67 Brands Hatch winner) - I have your front row in my stash and several books on Chaparrals at home. I agree with the others here: make individual posts for the models - we would like to see more and larger pics of each!
  16. Came out GREAT !!! I like it very much - I have the same unbuilt in my stash (together with a 911 S/911 R/911 Carrera RS 2,7)
  17. Excellent model with great color choice (I expected to see another red GTO) - I'm always pleased to see a classic Ferrari which is NOT red !
  18. Absolutely - especially when you look at your staring point and compare this with the final results !!!
  19. same for me - very nice looking T-Bird !
  20. MY FAVOURITE ENGLISH ROADSTER !!!
  21. very nice, Matt - if someone could only come out with an 1/24 kit of the TR 4 (
  22. Very well-built and beautifully photographed !
  23. Very nice models, the only fault I can see - here Hasegawa has goofed, it's not Scott's fault: they mis-spelled the name of the co-driver : his name is Ilkka KIVIMAKI and NOT KiwImaki (I have the kit at home also and noticed that upon looking at the decal sheet - it can easily be corrected as long as the decal has not been applied). But I think only a long-term-hard-core rally fan will notice that - the models are great!!!

    GT-40

It looks like a Fujimi because it IS a Fujimi kit reboxed from Revell.
