  1. Excellent, Brian ! I've never seen such a perfectly detailed dumper body inside - the dents, the bare metal, the ribs on the floor shining through the rust - like the real thing !!!
  2. Randy, this is one excellent model - looks fantastic!
  3. as a '59 myself, I really appreciate your very nice model. I'm not sure of I should build it as a hardtop, but your convertible makes me thinking it over...
  4. Great build, Kurt (of an awful kit with a lot of issues) More than 30 years ago I happened to get an old glue-bomb which I restored using some leftover parts from the reissued union Mk IV kit which worked quite well. Home-made decals and wrong color = black instead of dark-blue, though. Link to my build here: https://www.willhaben.at/iad/kaufen-und-verkaufen/d/1-25-imc-1966-ford-j-car-super-raritaet-aus-den-spaeten-60er-jahren-326694005/
  5. Fantastic model, Alex, of one of the most important Ferraris (even if it never was equipped with a working engine) Even if you think that you don't have your old building skills any more after your accident - this model is far above the ability of most of us. Don't try to reach perfection, just build for your own enjoyment. If only Fujimi had released this one instead of the 206 S prototype (which already has been released by Heller/Airfix) ... sigh !
  6. Very nice model of one of the most beautiful cars of that era-
  7. Great to see finally some new models from you, Alex - looking at your homepage from time to time I was already thinking that you have given up modeling. The 1965 Dino prototype looks excellent - I would love to see more of this one !
  8. Very nice, Rich - I too have this in my stash - will be done as the 4th place NART car from Le Mans 1970 (Bucknum/Posey)
  9. Very nice GTA, Pat !
  10. Tamiya's 1/24 Jaguar Mk II
  11. Great racer, Anders - the weathering shows the effect of running 24 hrs at Daytona Speedway!
  12. Very well done, Rich! I love those prototype racers from that era - they are among the best looking race cars ever. I too have several Fisher kits in my stash.
  13. x 2 !!! Excellent details (f. e. the 2 fans behin the windshield!) Can you show us some pics from the back of the tractor also ???
  14. I wouldn't have hesitated one second - great deals !!!
  15. Very nice execution of this old, but good kit, Anders: great color and decal variation!
  16. DMC decals from Denmark also offer them - great looking 1976 RAC rally winner !
  17. x 2 - absolutely! One question, Gary: are the bumpers already chromed? Tom Tanner in the Ferrari chat forum says yes but 2 weeks ago I watched one on ebay and the pics showed NOT a single chromed part: no headlight buckets and no bumpers:
  18. you've done it again, Jürgen - but 500 hours ? I never had the patience (nor the ability) for this degree of perfection !
  19. x 2 - very good looking KW !!!
  20. x 2: absolutely !!! I like classic Ferraris in other colors than the ever-present red much more.
  21. I think that this is a modified ESCI Miura. That was so bad that I sold it long time ago before Hasegawa came out with their perfect proportioned Miura SV. Though ESCI's was an earlier version (with the "eyelashes" around the headlights) they got it totally wrong.
  22. I know, but this one is out of reach for me financially - I was hoping for Italeri all these years, but....
  23. As Italeri possesses the former Protar dies (they released several of their 1/9 bike kits and some other kits) I'm sure that this is the ex-Protar kit (as is the Alfa Giulietta/Giulia Spider)
  24. I have several each of those, but .... you can't have enough of classic Ferraris! If someone would release a 250 GT/L (Berlinetta LUsso)!!!
  25. I believe they will be simplified reissues - like their Dino 246 and their Countach kits which had about half as much parts as the enthusiast models had (about 115 instead of more than 250 IIRC). For instance, the RS Dino kit has lower engine components molded into the floor pan, It does not include a detailed engine, just the exhaust tubes and oil sump; so you have to glue the engine cover shut = a very detailed but nevertheless curbside kit. I expect those 911 Porsches to be of the same kind.
