  1. Great looking Edsel, Raoul! Very nice!!!
  2. Very nice resurrection, Al ! From a junker to a showroom star ! Being myself a '59, I like this Edsel very much - I wish I had one in my stash!
  3. Fantastic little street-burner, Ville!!! I totally forgot that the 600 had chain-driven rear wheels.
  4. Great historic racer, Larry! Apart from the rollbar being a bit too far back, you really hit the nail with this one: stripes, roundels, engine and interior details - super!!! (and I thought the Tiger was a boring kit so I missed it years ago when amt reissued it in their Blueprinter series....)
  5. Excellent Dodge camper, Tom !
  6. Can anyone tell me what's the big deal in this kit and why ebay offers fhave been ridiculously overpriced in the past? I think there is much more benefit in the other version: you get 10 wheels, 3 rear axles, a longer frame and you have the choice between sleeper cab or daycab (with some work). For me, there is no obvious advantage in the single-axle daycab - that would make sense only for a boxart-collector....
  7. Well-built Bertone coupé - let's see more Alfas !!!
  8. Very nice build of a beautiful 50's classic !
  9. Steven, this is one fantastic model, it doesn't get better than that and you prove here that this is one of your all-time favourites. But, anything I have seen from you in the past was no less than superb craftsmanship, excellent paint and beautiful pictures !
  10. Awesome White Western Star with chromed Mercury sleeper - did you lengthen the frame on this one ?
  11. Or from Europe - this is quite common here.
  12. Exactly, this has to be the best build of this kit that I have seen yet (even with the correction of the front underpanel!)
  13. Coke-bottle Vette at its best !!!
  14. I also bought from Fisher Model and Pattern and Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland several years ago - both offer TOP service, after a few weeks I got my kits/parts in EXCELLENT quality!
  15. The license plates come from Hannu Mikkola's 1979 Ford Escort Mk II RAC rally winner (Revell, former ESCI kit). The conversion from a Cooper to an Austin Seven is great !
  16. awesome - you raised the bar very high - especially the engine compartment is very nice!!! Do the wide non-stock wheels come from amt?
  17. Fabulous, fantastic! (Only the glass-smooth point job is much too nice for a period race car)
  18. Beautiful build of a legendary F1-racer which unfortunately killed our first world champion on his way to his championship.
  19. To all of you country truckers, I strongly recommend 2 LP's I have in my collection with a few great truck songs: The very first longplayer from Little Feat with "Willin'" and "Truck stop girl" (from around 1970) and "Hot licks, cold steel and trucker's favourites" from Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen (from 1972)
  20. In my eyes, the most beautiful sports racer of all time !
  21. My personal wish lists: European 1/24: Ferrari 250 GT Lusso Lancia Aurelia B20 Coupé GT Lamborghini Espada (first series) Ford Lotus Cortina Mk I (1965/66) Triumph TR4 Jaguar E 4,2 (first series) Coupé Volvo 122 S (or 123 GT) Citroen SM Renault 16 TS Peugeot 404 Mercedes 230 SL Opel Commodore GS/E (first series) BMW 3,0 CSL American 1/25: 1962 Jeep Gladiator P/U any 1955 to 1968 cars that we have not seen for a very long time, even reissues (Pontiacs, Plymouths, Oldsmobiles, De Sotos etc.) Well, back to reality again!
