  1. Very beautiful model, Jürgen, of a great car (I'm glad that I bought 3 of them back in the day which I intend to build in the not-so-far future...) Your builds are always perfect!
  2. Excellent model, Bill, in a very nice color. Being a '59er too, I would love to have this one in my collection....
  3. GREAT looking truck-trailer combination - very 70's !
  4. Excellent model, Casey! This little-window 359 Pete is my all-time favourite truck kit!
  5. Awesome model - I really like these old workhorses, especially the Cabovers !!!
  6. Which decals does it come with? Obviously NOT with the Allied and CF ones?
  7. the Heller kit is available now - I found several on ebay Germany.
  8. awesome - the very first Japanese muscle car - very nice model !
  9. of course this is the European version, as this series is being issued in France!
  10. Exactly my thoughts... By far the best '55 Nomad I've ever seen! Amazing!
  11. This old tanker looks great hooked to the Diamond Reo, Pavel - expecially the first pic could be taken for real! Excellent - I like it very much !
  12. Finally, a DS 23 from 1973 is available in 1/24, if only as a die-cast but with very nice proportions - see link enclosed: http://www.ebay.fr/itm/citroen-DS-1-24-hachette-/152257149575?hash=item23733bba87:g:ghkAAOSwHoFXuIsX I have myself 2 on order from France which should arrive early next week. This is the first of a series of cars which have been popular in France by Ixo/hachette in 1/24 - some of them look to have never before seen in this scale. Their main disadvantage could as well be their main advantage: they don't have any opening features, so the awful gaps between hood, doors and other body panels can be avoided. This could fit well together with Ebbro's late `50s DS19 kit, Metro/Leo Models '63 DS Die-cast and Welly's DS convertible Die-cast.
  13. It has nothing in common with the Tamiya version. IIRC it's proportions are rather distorted - it doesn't have a stock look (it is too wide and too low, could probably built as a custom: already chopped/channeled/sectioned) it has been planned as a motorized toy car, only about 40 parts, curbside etc. etc. Here you can see a presentation of the kit contents: http://www.wettringer-modellbauforum.de/forum/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=55736
  14. Looks good - it only would need some P.I.E. decals !
  15. Just my thoughts - very nice, Bo !!!
  16. Looks great - some kind of French rat rod...
  17. Awesome looking shortnose Brockway, Dan! I have always liked these old irons much more than today's plastic streamliners....
  18. IIRC, there was an Indy 500 triple set by mpc, containing of Parnelli Jones '63 winner (Willard battery special), Jim Clark's runner-up Lotus from the same race and the '74 McLaren of winner Johnny Rutherford. I had this one set but sold it long ago because my interest changed to other subjects.
  19. should mean: ... on the shore of Lago di Garda..., of course.
  20. x 2 - except that I have 4 in my stash waiting to be built. I happened to see one of the rare originals in Italy, on the lake of Lago di Garda, about 12 years ago, in exact the very same color combination inside and out like your model - very impressive!
  21. Very nice - the '63 to '65 Buick Riviera is one of the best looking US cars of the era!
  22. Excellent model, Pavel ! Very nice !!!
  23. Outstanding work on this fantastic model, Harry! Attach the leather straps, but leave the hood open - you must not hide the engine !!!
  24. Very good looking '62 GTO ! Almost too nice to be driven around a race track !
  25. What probably should have been a mid 60's fantasy best-of-both-world's sports car, doesn't work for me at all: a Cobra with a E-type Jaguar style front (and trunk lid), some Ferrari elements thrown in - it is just ugly, the whole proportions are not right! Why didn't they do an Apollo instead (also known as "Thorndyke Special" from Herbie, the love bug) ? This does look right and is a real car (even if built in small numbers with the Buick V8) - if it must have been an "American exotic" !
