  1. Yup. And they make a ton of new Sci-Fi kits, always new issues in that arena because they sell well and they also make new resin figure kits too. For me, I love all the reissues. I've been making models since I was a kid, but I still never had a chance to make even half of the stuff they have re-issued. It's all new to me. I'm really glad the peeps at R2, Revell and Atlantis are digging into the archives and bringing stuff back all the time. And of course I appreciate the work that goes into the companies that make all new kits too, it can't be an easy undertaking and the financial risk these days. I'm not enough of an expert on every make and model to know if a roof line is a bit off or the fenders are kinda thick, etc so I'm lucky in that I can build the kit and have a blast doing it. It looks like the Ford, Chevy, Dodge it depicts when it's done and I'm happy that it was a fun addition to my builds.
  2. Is this the one that will include the drag light tree?
  3. I can tell you so far that it's worth an order to make the replica racer. Zero fit issues as is, great detail on the 427. It sure is shoe-horned into that engine compartment. I have some tips on fitting the headers around the motor mounts that you'll see in the video. I have not fit the body to the chassis or gotten the glass in yet so I can't comment if that is good or not. I know Moebius kits always seem to have super tight fitting glass so we'll see.
  4. Thanks Russ! There's plenty of room on YT for all of us to find a niche of modelers that like the content. I've used Jon's videos to look at all kinds of Asian kits I never even knew about.
  5. Took years and years, buying and building lots and lots of kits and grew on it's own eventually. It will get there!
  6. Thanks guys, I'm flattered! I do send the pics and links to my contacts at the manufacturers once done. I'm not a pro photographer so I'm guessing the pics I take aren't up to the snuff of what they can use in marketing. They likely need much better lit and stylized photos by folks far more experienced than I am. I'm just happy to be making cool new kits and having fun letting folks know that models are fun and we don't need to take a hobby too seriously if we don't want to.
  7. Yup, I am starting it tomorrow as a matter of fact. :)
  8. They can put whatever decals they want in the box as long as the kit is fun to build. And the box color scheme is yummy. I prefer the Stooge release version myself, loved those decals but I'll build this one up happily. Wonder what it means by display case? If it's the standard AMT hard plastic clear box that's a nice addition. Wish every kit had one in it. LOL
  9. Is there any more info other than just a pic I saw in a Revell email? It had a link to sign up for something on the Germany site but it never revealed any more info about the kit that I could see or translate.
  10. Just put mine into paint today. Hope to have done for Wednesday. So far, just as good of fit and detail as all the rest of the Ford pickup issues they have done. Some small parts are showing very minor flash or the molds maybe getting a bit 'loose'? But it's really no problem. The new flareside box falls together, well designed and snaps right onto the frame. Looks nice. Lots of extra parts in the kit too for the spares box (since it uses a lot of the same parts from other kits) or junk yard dios. Mirrors, wheels, bumpers, etc.
  11. Thanks! It's the first time I've ever built it and thought it makes for a nice Jeep!
  12. I'm hoping so. I don't know much about the bikes but I think the only difference was the name on the chain guard and the color, right?
  13. This reissue will be available soon, reissue of the Jeep with a cool Godzilla dio in the box AND all the fancy parts you need for the Surrey version included as well. My build of this new reissue goes live today on YouTube. Loved it. EDIT: Can't attach the image after five tries, oh well. Check the channel at 3pm today for the video. https://www.youtube.com/user/hpiguy
  14. It is coming out for sure, my guy at Round2 asked me if I wanted a copy to build (and I couldn't say yes fast enough) so it's for sure being issued. He just didn't say exactly when but I'd guess within the next 60 days.
  15. They can heat it using an exhaust diverter if installed. (Edit: Sorry, saw that others had replied long before me, woops) When hauling asphalt or anything sticky like that my Dad just used to spray the box of his County quad-axle with a thin layer of diesel from a garden sprayer. Worked all day long and cleanup went easy.
  16. Right as Model King sends it and with their decals. Looking forward to it! Thanks for the nice words on the Impala, it's a very nice kit.
  17. Want and Want.
  18. Looking forward to building it, thanks for the heads up on availability!
  19. YES! That will be fun and different.
  20. They whine about what is not released and they whine about what is released. Fortunately, they represent about 10% of long term modelers and are almost always ignored by the powers that be since nothing that will ever be done by anyone will make them happy. I'm looking forward to every kit on that board, and I've already built the Ford GT Lemans and loved it. I'll have fun with every single kit listed.
  21. The AutoCar A64B I did weathered up needs a buddy!
  22. Gotta have! Can't wait!
  23. ^ Yummy!
  24. Thanks dude! The one here is taken to level 1000 with detail. Amazing.
