  1. Holy cow, I did miss that, thanks for letting me know! Mistakes do happen. Nice to see they are using brand tires again. When I get home and have access to YT I'll go in and add text to correct the oversight. Thanks again for spotting that.
  2. Open box of the brand spanking new 66 Suburban by Revell. This looks like a great new kit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaJdS3lQrIM
  3. A quick look at the fit of parts and all the cool stuff in the box! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c4ocPzKExSY
  4. Nice rerelease from Lindberg/Round 2. I plan on doing mine as a GI Joe Cobra Commander hot rod, in the red and blue scheme. It fits the old 3 inch figures perfectly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwQPwxMouKo
  5. Every Enterprise from Archer to Picard in one box and in the same scale with full decals, aztecs and a base for each one? Make it so!
  6. Video review of the rereleased Stroker McGurk Ghost of America Flying Car. Neat retro kit, in 1/18 scale. Loe parts count should make for a quick build. Fit of the major parts is still good after all these years. https://youtu.be/g2SnQbZ0DIc
  7. A look at the re-popped (first time in 40 years) Stroker McGurk Surf rod kit. Awesome retro kit from the Hot Rod Magazine heyday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yR073CNj-I
  8. Another kit done, these Bandai kits are just pure pleasure to assemble, never one fit issue, never a lack of detail. Light weathering https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANMRuVaBMW8
  9. Rerelease that hasn't been around in 40 years. Nice chrome plating, 6 sprues of chrome. Huge 1/8th scale, 3+ inch branded tires. New decals. https://youtu.be/0FSsCQjQf7Q
  10. That Suburban makes me happy every time I see it. Now to get/make a camper kit.
  11. They did the same with the Transport Trailer, it was out for a bit, they discontinued it really fast and two months later or so it was back and has been for some time now. Hopefully this comes back when they sort any issues out.
  12. Am I missing stuff on this thread? Bunch of posts and pics gone?
  13. Well, each person has their opinion on this stuff. I think they look fine, but I'm sure you have your reasons for not liking the ones in this edition. Thanks for the info, you know a lot about these kits.
  14. What's 'sad' about the tires? I thought they looked nice, tread, branded, even sidewall callout detail.
  15. Sunday, SUNday, SUNDAY! You'll pay for the whole seat but you'll only need the EDGGEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
  16. Made this dio from Reaper Bones gaming figures and 1/35 Tamiya soldiers, barrels with model railroad scenery bits and bobs. DAS clay for the shoreline, clear casting resin tinted with acrylic craft paints for the pond. Supposed to look like the old late night movies where some toxic waste leaked into a pond and the turtles, snakes and fish mutated and are attacking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu1ZT9ca9AQ
  17. Ahh, ok, thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
  18. I'l be getting one. The only Chris Craft models I have are the RC versions by Dumas and while gorgeous, they are not shelf friendly, they take up a lotof space. A nice small one will be more fitting in the display cabinet on the main floor.
  19. Gorilla Glue CA brand has a bit of give to it, that may help with it not snapping off.
  20. There are cab roof lights on the chrome tree.
  21. Here is the rerelease of the Mack R685ST kit. Looks nice, molds have held up. New wheels look great, clear glass, 280+ parts. GREAT decals in this issue! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNQqOlG0c-A
  22. You're welcome, hope it works well for you. Always nice to save some bucks and salvage paint.
  23. A newer release from Revell, similar to the Vette racecar I reviewed. Low parts count and prepainted glass should make for a nice weekender build. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpfWDc82oxI
