  1. There ya go, that makes far more sense. Thanks!
  2. Did a quick review of this reissued kit that's been in high demand for some time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdtfK114kaM
  3. "Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools because they have to say something." -Plato 11,599 posts Full Name:Bill Engwer 181 posts Full Name:Chris Phillips Thanks for proving my point.
  4. We can always count on Bill to derail everything. The center of every internet argument. Thanks Billy! Love ya for being exactly who everyone says you are. I think Bill inspires the use of the ignore button more than anyone on any internet forum ever created.
  5. He clearly said SOME, but you know, a Charles Dickens novel length of overreaction later....
  6. Thanks guys! Always fun to make them.
  7. Got myself the Flameout. Low parts count of course. Comes with a nice cardboard display for it. Pad printed tires, lots of chrome. Molded in red, 1/12 will be molded in metallic red.
  8. A guy on You Tube built the ICM kit of this. Very cool car.
  9. Thanks Scott. I figure why not have a bit of fun, they are only toys.
  10. Here's a look at everything in the box, including those great decals.
  11. Thanks Scott! I got mine from Tower Hobbies. I order quite a bit from them and use the coupon codes to get free shipping or $ off. I live about 5 hours from their IL warehouse and usually get stuff two days later.
  12. Ordered the original version of this with the Black Pearl figurehead, on it's way from Russia as we speak. Can't wait to dig into it.
  13. Love it, great work so far. My first love is ship kits, everything else comes after that. I have yet to get my hands on a WASA kit in the US.
  14. Agreed. I wanted the 510 and as soon as I saw it was available, it was out of stock already.
  15. Your opinion on 'useless'. Many like them, in fact so many like them that the feedback has Round2 keep producing them and including them in their kits. Many kit collectors/builders appreciate the marketing, graphic arts and nostalgia of the boxes as well as the kits but they don't want to keep the bulky kit box around after building. This looks like a fun kit with those new decals. I'll gladly display the mini box next to the kit and recycle the big box it came with.
  16. Not so much in the car areas, but they have touched on sci-fi and figure stuff a bit. Their main business is in re-releases and they must be doing OK on it. They have stepped up the game on tires and decals, which is more than some other companies are doing on those fronts.
  17. Someone just paid $130 for an open box Flameout that isn't in all that good of shape. http://www.ebay.com/itm/321768969835
  18. The General is an awesome kit. HUGE too. I'm so glad they are bringing it back.
  19. I would love to tackle something like that kit sold at Monogram prices.
