  1. Clever idea with the wheel mod - looks great.
  2. The Capri looks pretty nice Gary is it 1/24 scale?
  3. Otaki of all people made a similar wheels. The Monogram Early Iron wheels are close as well.
  4. Great project Guy.
  5. Nice work George. I've built (2) of these kits-so far. They are fiddly but do reward the effort put into them. Kit bashing with them with a Fujimi 911 really brings them up a level.
  6. Great wheels but not the same style.
  7. Not aware of decals but it is available in 1:18 scale diecast. https://www.diecastxchange.com/forum1/topic/220793-gt-spirit-porsche-911-gt2-le-mans-naked-lady/
  8. They were used frequently on racing Porsche in the mid/late '60s.
  9. I've seen these described as D-spoke, not sure if that is correct. Anyone aware of these wheels being available in 1:25 or 1:24 scale? Often used on Porsche and VWs.
  10. Porsche 993 GT2 Evo - '98 Le Mans 24-Hour
  11. You could drop HRM's FIA 289 engine in the stock body while you wait for the B/FX kit to be released. https://www.modelbuilderswh.com/collections/engine-kits/products/hrm-301-cobra-fia-engine
  12. Very nice Justin.
  13. Welcome back to the hobby Bill and nice start. Your build has the look of proper racer.
  14. Very nice NJ.
  15. I'm hoping Fujimi will do the RSR 3.0 based on the Turbo tooling, much of it would carry over. If you have any industry connections maybe you could suggest it?
  16. That continues through today.
  17. Impressive work Steffen.
  18. The best built version of this kit I have seen. Watched the Munsters religiously as a kid and have all the episodes on DVD now.
  19. Another one with very nice engine detail as well as the dash. What wheels did you use Dann?
  20. Thanks Joe & Andre. The rear wheels appear to be cast with a domed shaped grease cap which would not be present at the rear hubs so I drilled it out. Opened the torsion bar access in the rear fender just ahead of the rear wheels – Porsche race cars almost never have these covers in place Subtly re-shaped the rear wheel opening - thought they were too flat at the top Working on the tires to soften the square edge of the tread surface and knock down the sheen Before:
  21. This book includes year-by-year general overview of the rules and tons of period photos for the Gasser classes. Not exactly what you are looking for but a good book to have in your reference library.
  22. It was meant as a tongue-in-check question. One of the busiest racing engine bays you can find from that era
