For those like me that are welding challenged I use these Berna clamps.

They competed stock wheel base cars as well. Don't believe they had funny car chassis however.

Thanks Willie. The wheels are available in the AMT '56 Ford kit but you can also get them in resin from R&M.

Fabricated a front valance and added some stamping detail to the core support.

Not sure which Halibrand wheels (6-hole or kidney bean) you are asking about but both style are 1/24 scale. However I have used both on the AMT 1/25 scale Cobra successfully.

Thanks Ray & Gary. Not installing inner fenders so I fabricated a core support to hold up the front fenders.

Think I found a rear wheel I like. Installed mounting pins on the springs and front axle.
