  1. Modified the 1/24 Revell grille to fit the new tool Cuda. Grafted on the lower valance and reworked it to shape.
  2. Nice looking build Ben.
  3. This is a challenging kit to build, looks like you managed it well. Nice work.

While I am tinkering with Cudas thought I would see if I could modify the 1/24 scale Revellogram grille to fit the new tool Cuda. Sectioned it at each end in between the head lights then slowly worked it to shape. Fits pretty good.
  5. Very nice.
  6. My point was that the OP needs to check his references to ensure using the correct size tubing rather that assuming a general statement is correct. Each racing series and each era was different.
  7. Got'a check your reference. The Cuda T/A I'm working on ran 1.5" tubing for the cage. I used .060" (1.5 mm) rod to build mine.
  8. Are the vents recessed in to the fender or do they project out?
  9. If you ever want to sell or trade your Scarab book Bernard, I would be interested.
  10. I paid $125 for my original Cox kit and it doesn't included the wheel/tire upgrade. I think the resin kit is a great deal.
  11. It is a re-pop of the Cox kit with better wheels/tires. It's resin which mean liquid cement will not bond to it, super glue and epoxy only.
  12. Yea I am starting to lose my patience with this ongoing problem. Might have to give up on this forum.
  13. Very ambitious project Gary.

None of the kits I have include the rear window louvers. However you may want to ask this a question to the whole forum.

Haven't looked at the AAR kit prices, I had mine in the stash for some time. Fabricated the fuel vent and added a gas cap tether.

Thanks Shay. I still have a few Escorts in the stash so I didn't spring for the latest release. I understand nothing has changed in the kit except the decals.
  18. Great project Mike. For what its worth I mixed up my version of MOPAR Turquoise from Tamiya bottle paint: X14 Sky Blue - 15 parts X28 Park Green - 1 part The block has a black wash over it as well. I didn't have a paint chip to compare it to but I'm happy with it. With more experimentation I think someone could get the mix very close to the factory color.
  19. Very nice.

Thanks Mike. Blanked off the tail light panel and fabricated a fuel filler.

I appreciate the comment and the interest - thanks gentlemen. Test fit of most of the engine bay. The final version will have a little more plumbing.
