  1. An oldie but a goodie. Tidbit: this and many other of Stevens' album covers are his original artwork.
  2. The heads are glued in place, everything else is held on with folded tape.
  3. Decided to see what I could do with the engine. Modified the AAR parts to fit the Revell 426 block.
  4. Nice.
  5. I checked out the Duster 340 and it is nice Tom - thanks. However I decided to try and modify the Mongoram AAR parts to fit the new Revell 1:25 scale kit.
  6. Can anyone recommend a nice 340 in 1:25 scale?
  7. Nice trade with Allen Wrench thanks.
  8. I'll be following.
  9. I may have to pick one of these up - looks good.
  10. I've used a polishing wheel in a dremel but you need to be careful not to melt the plastic. Novus should work as well just take a little longer.
  11. You could add lowering blocks at the rear axle and move the king pins up at the front.
  12. I don't have both kits in front of me to confirm but I would suspect the suspension can be swapped. Why do you want to swap them?
  13. Of course the mechanical are similar they are both Mercurys built 2-years apart. Not sure I understand what you are wanting to know.
  14. $40-$50. No really much different price from the Fujimi - the word is out that it's the same kit.
  15. Nice work.
  16. Yes same kit different box.
  17. The original is a timeless classic and this is a faithful replica - nice job Dave.
  18. Dave, is it worth recasting in resin?
  19. Food for thought: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/113986-posting-your-build-on-the-other-guy’s-thread/
