  5. Thanks. I keep thinking I'd like to own a model T (we have 2 classic cars now), but then I watch Youtube on how to start, and drive one, and then think I'd just like to take a ride in one. Mark

  10. Alrighty then, Here's a couple more of mine. The Datsun started as a pickup, built that one about 3 years ago, and the 1925 model T I just finished. Didn't realize I used the same base color for both. Mark

  12. Thanks. Take a look at rc groups.com; scroll down through the forums to boats. "DOCK TALK" is the general information forum. Also search the net for a company named ZIPPKITS; they make a simple model boat kit called the "TUGSTER", and can also supply the running gear. Mark
  13. JT, Thank you very much. I've been building rc scale ships for over 40 years now. I love building all types of plastic models, and have been flying rc scale planes for 20 years now. RC ships can be somewhat cheaper than other types of rc models (they don't fall out of the sky), and I like the fact that you can copy, or design any type of boat/ship. Here are a few of my boats; all are 1/12th scale (1'=1"), range from 30" to 50". I have built larger, but age is catching up. I try to stay around 30"-36". All of my boat models are electric powered, and I try to use a sealed lead acid (sla) battery. I enjoy scratch building, kit bashing, and kit building model boats. Mark
