  1. I agree. My point is you can have exactly what you wish for. If you as the buyer have "good taste" or not is another matter.
  2. Great save Anthony, looks really good.
  3. I like the color, suits it well. Nice Impala
  4. Good looking RR. Is this the new tool?
  5. Very nice,love the color.
  6. Mercedes Benz has enormous amount of colors to chose from plus the designo program. I`m sure many more brands offer it as well. The fact people chose boring has nothing to do with it. Society encourages to be individual, but at the same time the same crowd is judging if you stand out. No wonder no one dares to pick somthing really special. Just as an example.
  7. Very nicely done replica.
  8. Wild! Great job. I like that you did not go the rat rod route and gave it really clean finish and looks.
  9. Really cool build, nice details and finish. Love those wheels.
  10. Thanks all for the feedback. Steve: The top i think it from a 63 or 64 Impala annual if i remember right. Yeah it looks a lot diffrent, and to be honest i have no idea,it follow the kit when i purchased it. Might have to source down a orignal firewall. Btw your 61 look amazing.
  11. 41-49 Pontiac,Buick or Cadillac Sedanette would be lovely. Wishful thinking of coarse. 50-56 Cadillac,Oldsmobile or Buick hardtops as well. Edit: Predictions,oh well it`s not going to happen lol
  12. Great save, looks really good. Hope to stumble upon a 60 some day.
  13. Thanks. Here is the car that got me going.
  14. Bough this cheap on a local add. Had some issues as sanded away detail and trim here and there and one wheelarch on the rear was a complete mess, including the obligatory wrecked windsheild frame. The color is meant to look like Dublin Green, popular among many GM models. I thought it look better with the green top and green boot over white,as the interior are. The boot that follow the car did not fit at all,so i used one from the AMT 62 Impala (new tool) parts car. I also used the steeringwheel from this kit with the Buick colum, the Modelhaus wheel was way to thick imo. I will touch up some painting in the engine compartment and try add clear glass on the top and i calling it done. Replacement parts are the hood and ornament. Here are some pictures, thanks for looking.
  15. Very nice, love that color combo.
  16. Fat Pantera, nice to see you put an engine in it.
  17. Really nice 32. Bet those rear tires wont last long
  18. Did this one a while back. Body, glass, partial tub,and partial firewall and inner fenders is Johan. Did add some trim for vinyl roof and used alu tube for exhaust, the kit parts was to small. Chassis, drivetrain, most of the interior sides, seats, console, dash etc are Revell. Used MCG photo-etch set for emblems and grills, also some interior parts. Big thanks to fiatboy helping out with the wheels and also used the exhaust. It has a 71 color scheme,i did not realize until i was close to done. All w30 was put together in Lansing,i read some say 10 or 12 of these got the red inner fenders but i have not got it confirmed so i did not take the chance, also it was mostly for fun. Here are some pictures, thanks for looking.
  19. Fantastic work! The 66 looks great as well, the 67 is imo a much better looking car.
  20. Nice transformation.

    Pro Del Rio 57

Love it,all those personal touches makes it really pop.
  22. Stunning! This looks like a 1:1 in a showroom. Must have missed out on this thread. Btw all the pictures look fine on my screen.
  23. Unusual subject, you did a nice job on it.
  24. The unusual subjects and limited production i would assume add a lot. Some 1:43 resins (Finished models) are so nice they sometimes put bigger scale models to shame. Example the brand NEO. This said the NEO models are rarely over $100.
  25. Does this person got a website? I would like to know so i can avoid it.
