  1. Gassers are wild. As for my taste i guess i would fall into the low and slow crowd. I really dig this one. http://fueltank.cc/blog/2015/11/18/1941-plymouth-coupe
  2. Sweet Fury Bill. Won a 80s Trans Am GTA and 66 Oldsmobile 442 convertible really cheap on Facebook auction. Also got a 6 pack of those clear Tamiya jars for mixing color, and i finally bought a paint cabinet so i can use airbrush. Never used airbrush so expect lots of stupid questions on how to lol.
  3. Thanks for the feedback. The kit has lot of potential,i`m just waiting for that paint to let go,really stubborn stuff Found another oldie in another box,the AMT 40 Ford. It looks to be complete. Really exciting to search thru boxes i have not look at for 25 years.
  4. I used the Lazy Modeler masks, they are very easy to use and i think of good quality. Here on a Mercury.
  5. I had nothing but trouble with the "Ultra Bright Chrome" and are going back to the normal stuff. The problem is it changes between not stick and stick way to much. Sometimes it stuck so bad i had to chop a q-tip (those of plastic) and try scribe it off. I will not buy this more of this rubbish.
  6. Bob that is a cool build, like the extension of the front fenders, chop and taillights on the bumper. Bill you are right on the colors, this one is thankfully molded in grey-ish. Mild custom is the plan, but who knows,it might derail Rob might be somthing to it. I find most cars to have potential,ride-height,color and wheels are 90% as for the looks.
  7. Sweet! Shoot me an PM and let me know what you want/trade for them.
  8. Looking at preferance pictures help a lot for inspiration/motivation. Matija,do you have any pictures of the bumper? If not mistaken this kit came with stock & custom bumpers?
  9. I was going thru some boxes of junkers and parts cars and i thought this was to good to throw, the glass is perfect, but missing a headlight lens and front bumper. I threw it into the Purple Power now to remove the "lovely" salomon color. Have not done any really old cars,so i hope to do it justice, custom or not. Off to google to look for ideas i guess. Thanks for looking.
  10. Nice work,it`s fun to watch kits be brought back to life.
  11. Looking good Kevin.
  12. The color looks great.
  13. Really pretty shade of red,is going to look sweet with clear on it. I thought spanish red was like Ferrari red, assumptions are useless.
