  1. Awesome looking!
  2. The most fluid body style of the Sixties. Reminds me of a Great Uncle who live in Virginia who owned one. Massive hood with a engine that spanned from one side to the other. A ride that felt like you were floating along and a backseat that my brother and me held pre-WWE wrestling era events in until Referee Dad laid some smackdown at the next stoplight! Man that looks Great!
  3. The last picture makes me think of a possible Dodge Ad with the slogan, "This might be the only time you might want to lay your hands on a Demon!"
  4. Before I drive through your "jurisdiction of authority ", I might be adding another carb to the manifold....
  5. Clean looking chassis. The Petty Vermillion fairy easy on the Chargers/ Roadrunner. Never thought about the other of Petty's race cars. You made it look seamless!
  6. That's a "Whopper" of a Beauty! 70's Nascar is a moment of time of it's own. Super nice build
  7. Beats the heck out me on why there are double photos.? When/ If I edit the extra ones out, they all delete! Oh well!.....either doubles your viewing pleasure or reduces eye strain per eye...lol!
  8. One obscure photo, not the best in clarity. Dr. Don Tarr #37 Red Coca Cola 1969 Charger 500 reappears. Built the #37 out of the parts bin. About the only items that were a pair or set has to be the engine block, rims, backing plates and tires. Everything else were source deep with in the parts bin from years of accumulation from assorted kits. The body is a Revell Charger Daytona. +See 1st picture+ Instead of splicing at the front of the doors up along the engine cowl, I took the Charger Daytona (CD) hood and made a mark on each side of the hood that aligned with the center of the front wheel well, removing the frt clip of the CD. Using the same hood, I did the same procedure for a 69 Charger , removing it frt clip & then attaching it to the CD body. Very minimum putty & sanding require. Reinforce the fender graft applying plastic strips underneath the front fenders. The decals were made STS Scale Model Decals. Terry Borchers did a wonderful job in resurrecting a long fogotten echo and was most pleasant to deal with. Decals laid down with no issues and really bought the #37 to life! Testors Gloss Red and and assortment of flat , satin and Gloss black did the rest. Enjoy and question welcomed.... Chuck And as always....a few extras from the "archives"...
  9. I wanted to use deep set steel rims but the kit tires inside diameter were larger than the steel rims or any other rims in the part box for that fact. I did run across the ones on the Jeep and decided to use them. Didn't want to have any Chrome but just worked out that way. I also didn't have any tires the same height as the kit tires...
  10. Just plain and simply Beautiful. My Dad had a 72 Grand Prix that was yellow with a half black vinyl top. A gorgeous body style with cockpit dash/console that surrounded the driver. Rode great and had the power.
  11. 5 Stars! Just between you and me....a lot of that ain't gonna buff out...
  12. Great choices on everything! I keep picturing it in a dealer"s showroom...
  13. Looks Great! More metal in that Olds than in at least 2 1/2 cars of today...
  14. No burro's were harmed in the building of this Hondo but a Snow Mobile is in a unmarked grave...
  15. Groovy and Outta Sight!
  16. Looks like a satisfying build that everything came out better than expected.
  17. Paint looks smoother than a still lake. 👍👍👍
  18. Reminds me of a girl in HS who's parents bought her the Barcelona Edition. She was beautiful, and the girl didn't look that bad either.....
  19. Blue Ribbon winner there!
  20. Has that mid sixties vibe and sophistacation to it, much what you would expect to see in a Peter Gunn movie. Fantastic looking!
  21. Beautiful build! I could not imagine GM not considering this concept but after thinking of the engine placement, noise, heat, fumes....engine accessibility would be severely limited. But we're modelers and that would be a "Engineer"'s dilemma....
  22. Make sure when you drive it over to my house you at least rinse off the dust before parking it on my shelf...... Fantastic looking!
  23. Not hard to see yourself tooling down the open road, exhaust having the low to medium rumble, the back throttle plates anticipating to snap open at a moments notice, you're coming up on slower traffic and the passing lane is empty all the way to Graceland........ 🤟
