Body and color.....Timeless elegance

Great looking Boss 351!......you just made it hard to decide now do I want to do a yellow scheme or a ??? scheme....

Otta this World! Looks Fantastic! I'm also SMH.....I just finished a 77 Monaco 2dr that I picked up last year( in glue bomb mode), painted the body but had not decided what to do afterwards. Not satisfied with the original interior tub ( all came with a 60/40 or regular bench seat) I used a Joker Goon car Interior tub for a donor. Then I saw yours and decided a few more factory options needed to be added before I post it. Definitely does not look like it rolled out of a Promo box but off a dealership lot...brand new in 1977!

I got to admit I like it and would be interested in having one in my collection. When I worked for a Chrysler dealership a few years ago, I was given a Fiat Arbarth 500 to drive to training. Pressed for time and did not want to drive it in the 1st place, I relented. All I can say is it got great gas mileage I can't say you will get any "Street Cred" for any type or level of Road Rage you try to project or impress upon your fellow driver that intentionally cuts you off.

Awesome....looks like you just drove it off the lot.

Looks as if you found a color photo from that place in time....

I remember having a car like that.....took it out on a starry night to see the wonders of a celestial light show and...lo and behold.. a meteor appeared and landed some distance away. Bright light, Big explosion, lots of dust.... Well, that was 65 million years ago. Looks like it held up pretty good for its age. Excellent work my friend. Museum Quality!

To be 90 years old, looks pretty darn good. I don't think it was ever parked in the barn....just beside the cabinet with the fine China.

First off, I really like the color choice of the Dejablue Metallic. It Rocks! The only other iconic color for that car would be Red. The last true Muscle car at the of the end of an Era. Rated at 450 hp and 500 ft/lbs of torque, nothing American made for the masses came close for over a generation and a half with those specs. And I'm a MOPAR guy! Looks good and wish it was in my Cabinet! p.s. If you decide to crank her up and go cruising this weekend......be wary of elephants! Lol!

I think he meant "thrift store", same as a Goodwill or resale business of donated goods. You could say most any store is a theft store, depends on your attitude when going in! Lol! -

Hot Dawg! Let's go to the track since we're all loaded up! Looks Great! -
Gasser or Stock...both are classic, like the Gasser more!

Great color choice! That's some "Heavy Muscle"

Awesome!.....We need that in a kit!

Built the Dodge Coronet R/T and the Plymouth GTX...Great kits. Love yours!

Good-looking Impala and a good choice on going with the wide whitewalls!

Lol! You're right! Went back to check the instructions...yep! Well you can't unsee that goof ?. Learned long ago it's easier to fess up to a mistake early than to ignore it till later. To late in the game for reconstructive surgery since it is firmly cemented and I don't want to particularly create more harm than good in the correction. But somehow the wheel base stayed the same! My sincere apologies to the Mustang crowd in the forum for a grevious inaccuracy that "steered" me in the wrong direction. Can't help but laugh about it, doesn't change the enjoyable time I spent making this kit and rest assured this will be the one and only Mustang prototype with this innovative front suspension in my collection from here on out!

In my neck of the woods we call that a "Sunday truck"......meaning that you only drove it on Sunday's to Church, out to eat afterwards then back home to get washed for next Sunday.. Sunday Sharp!
