Appreciate the comments and would like to thank all that took a moment of their time to look. The #22 Fireball Roberts Fantasy build was by my good friend Kenny aka Model Guy. Getting together one Sunday afternoon to snap a few pics of his #22 and my Harvick #4, the Sun refused to come completely out and Kenny was having problems photographing his. I couldn't resist getting the both in one picture. Overall the pictures that came out pretty good that day. Thanks again for looking and can't wait to see your next presentation!

Typical OOB. I wished the decals had a orderly placement guide but got through it. Was doing some practice laps when this Gumball Purple Fantasy Mustang come " Fireballing" pass me.....

Awesome! We tend to be our worse critics but honestly Kenny that is a great looking model on a throwback scheme that should pop up at Darlington.

It was my plan to make a Sizzler version but the Mr. Norm Super Demon seemed to come together easier. It was the choice of color for the Sizzler that was causing the stumbling until I saw the Dodge EL5 Butterscotch. A darker yellow with a tint of brown still made the Mopar High Impart Color Chart ( Plymouth Bahama Yellow). For some unearthly reason I cannot figure why the rims are slightly darker the the body but they do add a nice contrast. A light brown was used as a base while Krylon Farm and Implement spray can Old Equipment Yellow lays on top. A good friend found a resin twin hood scoop and was gracious enough to "loan" it to me in exchange for the keys.

Weekend Main Street Cruiser!

Seems to me that with all the Mopars being posted lately, those Dodge Boys in the White Hats are stirring up the dust with this one leading the pack!

Lol! On one hand you have a T-Rex of torque and on the other..... a Emu with a badge and a attitude, a valve cover gasket leaking slant 6 and no Slurpee cup holder. Man! That's a toss up! I know what you did.....while Doug and Limue the emu were selling Liberty Mutual policies, you carjacked the Duster, scurried it to the happy grumpy garage.....well, you know the rest. Great looking build made better with the standard Duster grill! Excellent detail of engine and chassis!

When I was a Chrysler FCA Master Tech 2015-2020, I was surprised that owners of the Magnum and PT Cruiser were extremely passionate about their cars....whether it was a extremely clean well kept and a daily beater, money was no object. That is sweet!

All very impressive in the factory colors. All that is missing is a diorama of the Nicholas Plymouth Dealership lot with a sign or two saying " This Week's Special" or "Buy Now! Financing Available!" ???

I have a 71 and a 72 that I plan to start on soon.....I truly hope they turn out as Sharp and Great as yours! Gorgeous!

Of all the auto manufacturers that put out their presentations in the compact class in the 70's, to me by far was the most stylish overall was the 73 Hornet. The 2nd introduction of the name plate was far different than than the original predecessor. Built to compete with the Maverick/Comet, Nova and the Duster & Valiant variants. 71 production model was a one year only stuffed with a 360 4bbl Cid. The 360 carried over till 73 but in 2 bbl form and 40 hp less. Other engine offer were either the venerable inline 6 cylinder or 304 V8. 73 introduced the Hatchback which carried through till 77 year model. By 1978 AMC introduced the "luxury compact" Concord as the Hornet replacement. The Mid-Carolina Swap meet in Salisbury,NC this past February was attended by me and Model Guy. Stopped and visited a vendor called Top Speed Decals & Resins (mnaylor1963@yahoo.com). Not only was I interested in the Hornet but also in the course of conversation he showed me a sheet of decals ( Mr. Norm Super Demon) that he purchased..making a beeline to that vendor rewarded me with his last sheet in his possession. Mine, when I left the table lol! Very little prep work, a cast of a former AMC model issue minus the tires/assembly and glass. Testors Gloss Red, some AMC Rallye rims from parts unknown and the white side stripe courtesy of AMT 71 Duster 340 decal sheet with the 340 trimmed off. Anything else was added with modeling enjoyment!

If and when you get tired of looking at it, don't have enough space on the shelf or just does not have the right Feng shei......send it to me! Lol Looks great! Chuck

Top speed of a typical Chevette,(w/o the wind blowing from behind, no Acme side mounted rocket boosters, level surface as opposed to a 45 degree or more downward sloped ramp. in front of a row of Pinto's ( at least two) lined up side by side AND all 4 cylinders firing) was probably higher by two to three points than what the oil pressure reading was at wide open throttle. Three things were faster than stock Chevette...1) depreciation after purchasing one new 2) a rear ended Pinto on fire and 3) 3 day old roadkill. Actually 4 things.... Rust if the vehicle traveled on salted roads! Jokes aside, I had no idea that Chevette fell under the Yenko umbrella. The mods are A1 as is the overall build. I find that it's the unique subjects hold the most Interest, always have a good story attached and give the most satisfaction knowing that you are the very few that has such a replica in their collection. Great work!

Woooweee Kenny! That critter in the 1st pic looks a lot smaller in real life... Great build! Definitely can tell that you really enjoyed building this one. One word of advice......next time I come over to visit, don't have slithern Seymour to greet me at the door! Lol. Keep up the great work...Chuck

I've got the Resin body, the decals and the donors for the chassis but I never got or can find the time. In the meantime, I'll spend my time admiring your time and effort. Great looking build! Chuck

That 3rd pic is just wind tunnel sexy! One of the smoothest curves on a Custom I've have ever seen. Fantastic overall?

I thought I posted on this before but didn't for whatever reason (old age, forgetfulness, had a "squirrel" moment). But if I did post a 2nd post..it still looks fantastic!
