  1. Thanks. I forgot to mention that there is a build thread that has some detail on the build but Photobucket took care of that, I need to do some touch up on it, maybe when I change the headlights. I'll do it. the radiator fell out when I took it downstairs so I just stuck it back in.
  2. It's done in Testors Mystic Emerald green outside and Lime Ice inside. It's mostly box stock except for a Revell parts pack Chevy 283. I normally wouldn't do a custom build but the front end looked so clean I went with it. I don't like the custom headlights and may change them to stock. The chrome trim was done with a Molotow chrome marker.
  3. I'm posting pictures in the under glass section now. Thanks to all who posted comments and looked at the build.
  4. I sure will. Here's were I am. The chassis, interior and motor a almost done. I had to move the tach so the interior would fit, and there's a picture of the B&M shifter that came out nice. I tried to paint the body this morning before the rain, but in a rush I sprayed too heavy and have to do some sanding. It's not supposed to rain tomorrow morning so maybe I can get the body done. If not Sunday is the next nice day. Fingers crossed.
  5. My wife mostly stays away while I'm building, but she does tend to burst into the room and starts talking at a critical point. If she hangs out I ask her help find dropped parts she heads out quick.
  6. I've always like those cars. Before I went in the service in 1969 I worked at a car wash that had a contract with the local Volkswagan dealer to remove the cosmoline from the new cars. I got to drive them fresh off the trailer. Yours turned out beautiful.
  7. The motor is almost done and the interior fit looks ok.
  8. Here's some pictures. Changed the wheels out Some work on the interior. I added the fire extinguisher, tach and seat belt.
  9. That came out nice.
  10. I'm looking for the above. anyone know of a caster that makes one? I found one at The Parts Box but it's out of stock, and I found a picture of one on another site but nothing happens when I click on the picture. I had a bunch of casters save on my old computer. but I lost them when my computer fried itself. Thanks.
  11. It has both clear hood and windows, plus amber tinted hood, windows and headlights.
  12. I think you're right. I have a set of AMT drag gasser wheels that look good. I'll post a picture tomorrow. Thanks for pointing that out. I had to do a little custom work to make them fit.
  13. I started on this one. Other than the wheels and a resin B&M shifter and maybe plug wires it will be box stock. I'm working on the stance in the second picture.
  14. Great, it works and is easy to do. I'm back in business. I got an e- mail from photobucket telling me how to down load my pictures from them to save on my computer. Next I'll see if that works and maybe I can save a few of my build threads that way. Now I'll get some finished pictures of this one to post in the done section.
  15. I'm going to try and post a picture through the forums host to see if it will work for me.
  16. The 84 to 87 Fiero used a Chevy Citation front cradle mounted in the rear and Chevette front suspension. In 88 GM brought out a different suspension and then did away with the car.
  17. What a great idea!
  18. Sadly the build pictures are gone. This one is done now and when I figure out what I' I'm going to do I'll post the pictures.
  19. It was the 60's. That would look pretty trippy back then Cheech and Chong "wow man look at the wheels. They're red, no white, no red."
  20. I got the same e-mail. they want $399 a year. That's crazy. I wonder if some one copied and pasted our pictures some where else and Photobucket is charging us for a business. I hope I can get my pictures off there and use another site. I can't seem to find a way to contact them. The only customer service link is for something you bought from them.
  21. Thanks. I got to do the touch up she needed today so I'll have finished pictures soon.
  22. When I saw the dual engine frame for the hearse I thought of a Fiero kit I have. A dual engine Fiero would be a wild build.
  23. Repainted and almost done. I need to do a little touch op on the body because my hands aren't so steady anymore. I used Molotow chrome markers on the chrome instead of BMF, Need some touch up in here too. Grill and bumper on. Three coats of Future on the paint, applied carefully so it didn't get on the chrome and dull it. I think the next set of pictures will be when it's done.
  24. Thanks. I think I've got the glitches worked out now. The body is stripped and ready to prime and repaint. I'm working on that now. The frame is pretty much done, just some touch up. I even work out an OK exhaust system. The motor is all in. I'm glad I went to a different pulley system because the tubes in the front compartments would have interfered with the first set up.
