Thanks for the kind words everyone. I did look into getting a replacement engine for the TR, just not enough in the wallet. Hopefully I can get a complete kit, and do the chassis 0724 in yellow and red as I had planned.

Hi all. I have a couple Ferraris on the bench right now, just kind of a coincidence. I will be away from the workbench for about a week, so it was a good time to paint the bodies. Being gone will keep me from putting my grubby mitts on them too soon. The TR250 is the Hasegawa kit, I was going to do a yellow and red scheme, but my yellow paint was kaput, no good. Used up an old rattle can of Italian Red (Testors). The Testarossa is the Revell "Miami Vice" kit. That finish is airbrushed, the paint is one bottle of MM Pontiac engine blue metallic and one bottle of MM silver blue metallic thinned 1:1 with lacquer thinner. Really pleased with both, these go a long way to helping me get over my phobia of painting bodies. Bottom of engine. Front. Side. Unfortunately the TR250 will be a curbside. The guy I got the kit from took the engine for another project and I got the rest of the kit. I love to build out the engines, so it was a bummer but it will look great on the shelf. I will try to post a few more soon. Thanks for looking. Sean

Beautiful model Carl. I am going to have to try some HOK one of these days, they look like they just lay down on there so nice. Thanks for sharing. Sean

Hi Zoltan. Looking great! Starting from when I was very young I have tried to build this kit 3 times I think. Your model makes me want to try #4. It is a very good kit, and a unique F1 car. Keep up the great work. Sean

Ok all, my '69 GTX is all done. This was the opening door and trunk project, but I backed out on that, I just wanted to have it done. I am experimenting with learning to take proper pictures of my models, some of these turned out really good I think. I can tell if I take better pictures I better clean up my modeling, all the warts really show. In any case, it is on the shelf now, and on to new projects. Enjoy! Sean

Nice project Keith, love the clean building style.

Good job Tomo! It is really fun when you can combine model car building with other things you like, Forza 5 and Ms. Ellis-Bextor for instance. I'm planning on starting a series of rock stars cars. Keep up the good work my friend.

Tim, thanks a bunch. Price is a big concern for me at this time. They have a killer website also. Sean.

Hi all. Is there a consensus here in the forum about who makes the best or closest version of Dodge Plum Crazy paint? I am going to be replicating a friends 1:1 '71 Charger, and want a really nice match. Thanks all, Sean.

Hi Tom, great save on the taillight. It takes a model builder to look around at everything and wonder if it can be put on your model car, lol. Good looking little shelf model too, I wouldn't mind building one of these. Sean
