Excellent site, thank you for the link. I looked at every tutorial, they are all great.

Well done man. I have one also, it is about 95% done, just temporarily lost interest in it. I wish I had known about the R&M louvered hood, I definitely would have added that on, the real car as seen in the box photo shows the louvers. Oh well, in any case yours looks great Nick, the 60's super stockers are my fave subject.

The paint turned out great Billy, good work. Gives me ideas for a couple pro streeters Im slowly working on. Keep it up, cheers.

Looking great Marco. I will look forward to seeing it all finished. That looks like a pretty neat kit. -
Dang it, this makes me want to build one of these little guys now. I have too many projects going as it is! Great build Justin, kudos.

I like it Krishna. I particularly like the darkened panel lines, they really set the look off. How do you do that if I may ask? I would like to do that on some of my builds. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Incredible work, I would have sworn they were 1/16 or 1/12 scale. Those are inspirational builds John, and the Alclad work is beautiful. I appreciate seeing the picture taking shots also, I like tips on how others get good photos of their models. Doh! I just looked back at previous post, they are 1/16 scale. -
That really is exceptional. Beautiful build at every stage. Your NNL win is highly deserved. Kudos

Very nice clean build Damian. You have a nice stable of Mopar goodness going there, keep up the great work. Cheers

Good job John. In the long ago past I built this kit also, now long gone. Keep up the good work.

Hi Tom. You have made a ton of progress on that, great job! I'm not the custom builder you are but I saw some tricks and tips that I will keep in mind for my projects. Thanks again for the TR250 kit, I really appreciate it and will get it into rotation as soon as I can. Sean

Hi Henry. It is really cool to chat with people from Europe who are more familiar with the real car. I just bought the kit because I thought it looked cool. Yes, the kit motor is the G60, according to the box art and the decals, I wouldn't know otherwise. Keep watching I will get her done asap. I hope to be going back to work very soon, and that will cut into my model building time but I would much rather be employed. Cheers

Ah, someone who is familiar with the place. It is pretty slow paced, but it suits me. I have plenty of time to watch the moles devastate my yard

Another kit I have been holding on to for too many years. This is the Tamiya 1990 NSX, and it is just a great kit. It assembled so fast, and cleanly. The exhaust system on this kit is my first use of Alclad II chrome lacquer ever, and I was astonished at the results. I read up on how best to use Alclad, and just did it, turned out beautiful if I do say so myself The paint on my Acura is MM Kiln Red Metallic over a very dark grey primer, I don't like the primer, but this paint looks great on the car. I just wasn't too excited about any of the stock colors for it, so I went in another direction. She will be done very soon also, I get to do the masking and painting of the windshield piece(s), oh joy! Catch ya'll later.

Here is Arnie Beswick's '62 Catalina SS drag car. I really enjoyed building this kit, it is well made and comes together nicely. I did bmf and decals on body today, and should have this one under glass by the weekend. I am unemployed , so it leaves me a lot of time at the workbench. This will look great on the shelf, and be a good start to my '60s super stock collection. Think Thunderbolts, Hemi Darts, Cobra Jet Mustangs, it will be fun. Stay tuned

This is from the Revell Germany kit of 1991. I have been packing it around forever. The body piece had a decent warp in it, most of which I removed with hot water treatment. There is still some warp there, but I think when I get the rest of the kit together it may straighten out. The overall quality of the kit is really poor, and it was molded in a softer version of styrene, or some other plastic. It is coming together though, and I think (hope) it will make a nice shelf model. I will paint it Boyd's Aluma Coupe pearl yellow. The windshield piece is broken in two right down the middle, so I will have to scratch something together for that. Keep tuned, it will be done soon hopefully.

What can be said other than "wow"! An exceptional job. I'm happy with putting a kit together cleanly, your job is simply in a whole other category. Kudos on a wonderful job. I hope that earned you an A.

Hi Dante. This was made from the Revell 'Street Burner' kit. That one has the racing green cobra of Sam Feinstein on the box. I was originally going to do it that way, but decided instead to just do it the way my Cobra would be if I were fortunate enough to have one.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I'm really looking forward to posting more under glass, and being in this community. SW

Thanks Ray, glad you like her. I just had to figure out my camera to adjust my file size down, my pix were a wee bit large, not uploading. I have several w.i.p., so keep an eye out there also, I will be uploading occasionally.

Hi all. This is the first model I have completed in probably 6 years. Until now I just have not had a dedicated place to work on my kits. I'm very happy with the way it turned out, I just wanted to finish it and get it on the shelf. Color is Tamiya Mica Blue, hood is from rattle can, rest of body was airbrushed. This won't be my only Cobra by any means, I have ideas for a few more. Hope everyone likes it. Sean

That is simply a gorgeous build. That paint is incredible, you gotta watch your step or you could fall into it Keep up the great work.

Another great build Felipe. I really like the touch of blueing on the exhaust tips, looks really cool. Sean W.

That is fantastic Felipe! Great paint job, killer rear wing, and an overall beautiful replica. Cheers, Sean W.

They both look great, but I give the nod to the GTX. I'm a mopar fan at heart, and that color is just fantastic on the Plymouth. It is really nice to see a color that is out of the ordinary on one of my fave cars. Keep building 'em.
