  1. I'm sure Moldehaus could do the same, but being retired, it's not affecting their revenue anymore, so it would just come down to whether or not they wanted to spend the time to pursue it. With no revenue to protect, nothing to gain from it, they would just be throwing money away. It's sad, but that's just what it is. You are right though, the best way to support them is to not buy the knockoffs.
  2. I don't know who Pedro is, but how is this a surprise to anyone. Unless someone bought the rights to their molds, or they decide to pursue legal action, their stuff is pretty much up for grabs. There is no infringement if nobody pursues it.
  3. very nice work. I have this kit and started sanding the body on it to prep it and when I put the front bumper and stuff on, it drove e freaking nuts, so I am filling the seams and shaving it like the real car in the pic. I'll be watching this build closely, your work is super clean and this is turning out nicely.
  4. I will be following this. I have the non-livery version of this kit with the Hobby Design detail set and full engine set and can't wait to dig in.
  5. so that is an SRT with their brand new wheels. You can see here in this pic, these are the newest wheels with the crossbars between the spokes, but as of now, they are only available on the new Challenger T/A 392 and only in the black color. The T/A only comes with a matte finish hood, the car in the show has a glossy hood. Both the SRT and the T/A use the same hood. Either this is a custom car for the show, or an option that hasn't been released yet. Basically these are silver T/A 392 wheels on what appears to be an SRT. I know (I THINK) some of the previous Scat Packs had SRT badges on them when fitted with the 6.4
  6. I did wait some time for my last order, but it came eventually. There was always communication though, and I had ordered a few times previously.
  7. it turned out very nice, very clean build
  8. I was looking for new switch plates for my new office and stumbled across these http://www.switchplates.com/Automobile-Switch-Plates.html
  9. how is this kit, pretty easy to build?
  10. This instantly became one of my favorite cars and I never knew it existed before today http://imgur.com/a/XJmWm
  11. I have ordered from them several times, they are one of the more reputable distributors.
  12. this looks great, the pinstriping sets it off
  13. people answered you in the same thread you started yesterday. Start there.
  14. I am missing 3 packages right now that were sent via USPS, with the oldest being from Gravity Colors at the end of November. I was told it shipped and i have no doubts about that, as I am missing 2 more packages that were sent from reliable vendors outside the industry.
  15. I'd love a wheel and PE set for this
  16. Looks great. I didn't think I was going to like this one, but I really like where it's going
  17. Thanks guys. This won't be a fast progressing build, but I'll do what I can, when I can. I doubt I'll get time today, but maybe tomorrow night
  18. Not much progress, but I did start by fitting the PE pieces to all the body work and making sure I make all the mods I need to first. not sure how often I'll get to work on it. I do have my new (5th) modeling space mostly set up. Still some work to go, but it's functional. I wanted to keep going on my 29 Ford and 911 GT1, but I don't have the spray booth fully functional and setup. Until I can make the time (with a lot noise) to drill the holes in the wall for the vents, i won't be able to paint. I am in the garage now, due to our new baby due in March taking over the last room of the house where I had everything. Can't paint in the garage without a booth because the vapors go right through the attic and into the house. Pregnant women are incredibly sensitive to odors Anyway, I'll post better pics when it's 100% finished, but here's my new space. now for the model Hobby Design set Center piece from the kit. Outside pieces are PE. Still need to ass the trim pieces and brackets when ready All these pieces to replace the 1 kit piece
  19. this thread hasn't been active for over a year
  20. Online hobby shops will be the end of me
  21. Being in the US, BNA has become my favorite, other that Media Mix in Singapore.
  22. this is awesome, I didn't even know it existed
  23. Came across this. The new Scale Motorsport 3D printed wheels would be great for this build.
  24. I was looking at that too, looks real. I'd really love to find a way, or someone that makes real louvers in this scale.
  25. Well, I had 0 interest in this kit, until my dad bought a new Camaro SS so I'd better pay attention. Looks like it is coming along nicely.
