This will be a hodgepodge of old and new parts. Starting with a broken MPC NASCAR Monte Carlo rebuilder Body. It will ride on a AMT Allison Monte Carlo Chassis. That will have a AMT NASCAR TBIrd frt clip grafted on and truck arm rear suspension put on it. Beauty of it is all of this is coming from my spares box except the bodies which I got very cheap. I used the Modified stocker body to repair the Nascar body.

Was the resin not allowing the paint to dry in spots? I’ve had that weird thing happen a couple times

20” is about my limit.and please don’t sit the car like a 4x4 truck. That and the cambered wheel BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH are the dumbest looking car trends ever.

Maybe that’s what is is. Not trying to be critical but something just looked off to me. I’m a nut for proportions on models.

That roof looks way wrong. It’s too tall.

AMT LTD lowered on Zimmerman Salt Flats. Vinyl top moldings and seams added. Along with the fender top moldings AMT forgot. Painted 1970 Ford medium Lime.

You are correct sir. Never noticed it.

This is a Johan 68 Caddy convertible with a 67 Impala roof grafted on to it. The side windows are reworked to have a more formal shape to them. The color is 68 Caddy Silverpine Green. I switched the metallic in it to make it a Firemist. Added a few drops of green Zirillac pearl too. Lowered it 1/4 inch on kit wheels and tires.

No it is an old AMT kit painted to be like the second picture .
