Always wanted to do this car. So I got one. I didn’t like the drivers side roofline at the toprear of the door opening. So I spliced in a piece of strip to fix it. I added vinyl top moldings and seams. Also added the fender crown moldings. Paint is about 6 coats of rattle can white sprayed really dry for the roof. 1970 Ford medium Lime for the rest. Ford dark green interior color too. It’s nearing completion. A few odds and ends on the body and chassis. I need to detail the interior real nice too. Zimmerman wheels and lowered about 1/8 inch all around.

That is a sweet looking race car

Thanks guys

Looks pretty ok to me

They aren’t all that great but they’ll do.

Steve I have to agree with you 100%. I think all the 68 Abosy cars were prettier than the 69 cars. Personally I think the 70-72 Chevelle has nothing on the 68-69 cars. The only 70 Muscle car I really liked was the GS. The 68-69 GTO was nicer as was the 442 of those years. All that being said I’ll take a 67 GS400 hardtop over all the others. The best looking A body of all time.

How did you point the grille and bumper? I rebuilt the grille to be a 69 and spliced a 66 Wildcat center bumper in to the resin ends

Looks sweet Larry!

Alan I don’t know if I have any pictures. I literally did this up to and including paint about 7 years ago. Stuff gets way sidelined in my world. I’ll look and see if I have any on my computer tonight.

That BNL one is a copy of the Polar Lights Charger piece

A complete rework of a Perry’s 68.Corrected rear window wheel openings and hood peak. Reworked frt bumper and grille. Completely redone hood too. This has been put aside a few years.?Time to get it out again.

Someone used tomake a real nice resin one but it’s no longer available .

I like it

Good question I’ve seen pictures with a formal roof body. Maybe they skinned it? Not sure. Just know I think it’s the sharpest Holman Moody car ever.
-
I couldn’t agree more. The 67 GS in particular was the prettiest A body ever.
-
Nice I like 4 door hardtops.

This is David’s 70 Holman-Moody Riverside 500 car. Revell body Polar Lights Chassis. Lots of scratchbuilt parts. PPP wheels and tires custom decals. 1970 Acapulco blue and bright gold. A coat of yellow candy over the gold.

It only took about 4 tries too. This whole car is rough to foil.

This is a glue bomb restore I started a couple years ago. It got sidelined for a long while. I’ve been clearing out half done stuff lately so here it is. The body was nice but someone glued felt all over the seats and floors. I dug it off and fixed it as best as I could. Made a set of frt and rear 4sod consoles to match the trans. Added dual quads from a 65 Riv and a parts box radiator. The kit never had one to begin with. Lastly put it on some new AMT redlines. Probably should have had the bumpers replated.

The Grand Am was cool too!
