  1. Thanks for the heads up!! I'll be tuning in!!
  2. Put a few mothballs down around the border of your porch or patio every few feet. Cats don't like the smell, so they don't hang around. Had that same problem till i tried it. it works!!
  3. That's just WRONG!! I've lost my share of auctions, but never by that close a margin. I normally get skunked pretty bad by snipers. I see that nomad in copper gloss with a white top, skinny whitewalls, and those CRAGAR mags. A beautiful car....
  4. Same here Ken!! Always a pleasure trading with you.
  5. Man, that is one of my "GRAIL" kits.. I would love to see a reissue of it .
  6. I think your doing just fine Ken!! I'm a HUGE VW fan, especially the Karmann Ghia!! These kits are notoriously hard to build, and I think that your doing just fine. The door and chrome fit are no reflection on your modeling skills at all. I think it looks GREAT!!
  7. !! Yeah, I gotta call BS on that one too. LOL!!
  8. This forum won't let the real profanity be posted. So the posts are regulated for hard core profanity. Using similar ,but not quite, words in their place to get your point across has been going on for quite awhile. Always has, always will. I resort to it from time to time myself.
  9. Work in a machine shop as a shipper/receiver, and full time painter/ parts room order puller. Oh, and sometimes target for middle management hostility...
  10. I love the color combo, and the use of the steel wheels. Very understated and clean. I've always liked the lines of this era of Ford trucks, and this build is a perfect example of why. Beautiful build Jeremiah!!
  11. I noticed that a lot of the cars he "sells" are still still hanging around the shop long after the deal was made. I like the show, but I too wonder how much is fake..
  12. Just finished up a great trade with Exotics Builder, aka Gerry Paquette. Great Trader!!
  13. Just finished a great trade with Exotics builder, aka Gerry Paquette. Great guy to trade with!!! Look forward to trading with you again Gerry!!
  14. Cool subject!! I'd follow a build thread of it.
  15. Man I LOVE Autocars... Sharp looking truck Warren.
  16. Maybe this guy got told by the wife to sell it or else, and this is HIS way of making sure it doesn't sell...
  17. True. He's only going to get what someone else is willing to pay for it. Regardless of collector value...
  18. Unless it has the keys to a 1:1 car in the box, I'm out.....
  19. Nice clean build Paul. This body style is timeless and you did it full justice. I have this one in the pile too. I was thinking about using the '32 grill and shell, but seeing your build, i changed my mind. Looks GREAT!!
  20. Wouldn't that negate the whole purpose of this thread??
  21. I've seen one of these fitted with R/C on a local pond, and they are beautiful when finished!!! All the natural wood finish is not something typically seen on the water anymore, and is a real eye catcher. I hope you post pic's of it when you finish it. I think you'll do a great job on it.
  22. Thanks Greg. I'm more interested in the windshield dimensions in particular. The side and back glass is ok. Its just the windshield that I'm most interested in.
  23. I've always liked the lines of those boats, but never attempted to do a plank on frame build. I don't think I would know where to start supply wise. I do wood working in my spare time and have lots of the bigger power tools, but don't you need a lot of smaller hand tools to build plank on frame?
