  1. Man, seeing all those mustangs warms the heart. Talk about eye candy!!!
  2. Even that "de contented" AMT 55, I think its the millenium edition, Is a straight re-pop of the street machine w/o all the go fast goodies. Most of the time I toss the kit tires, motor/tranny and parts bash it anyway, so that particular kit is still a good buy IMO . It can still be found for around $25 to $30 or so.
  3. These kits can still be found for much more realistic prices than THAT. Somewhere in the 30 - 40 $ range depending on condition. Some may find them even cheaper.
  4. I went to a local car show this weekend, and saw a very nice, clean tubbed pro street style '68 'Cuda. This person went to a lot of trouble working on fit and finish. Door gaps and body lines all laser straight. Then he/ they pop riveted a cowl induction hood scoop to a steel hood and sealed it with caulking!!!!
  5. Sharp!! Sweet '32.
  6. I would love to see a '77 LTDII Like the one my father drove. Almost the exact car except the headlights were stacked vertically, and no belt line. I have a lot of good memories of that car. I just about flipped when I saw a resin copy being offered of this car. Now if I could just find a '70 Chrysler Newport 4 door sedan....
  7. Agreed 110%. His stuff is NICE!!
  8. LOL!! I always seemed to wind up with the ones who liked to take a metal ruler to your fingers for talking or chewing gum in class. Oh how times have changed....
  9. It looks pretty sinister in dark primer!! SHARP '57 Jeff.
  10. Beautiful build Roger!!
  11. I'd second that. A panel wagon to class as a truck in junior stock drag racing!! Hydro stick with a fuelie setup... Oh yeah!!!
  12. Wow.... just wow...... I really fear for this country's future.
  13. Yep. i thought about that one too. I'll be cutting and fitting for a good while till i'm satisfied with how they look!! LOL!!
  14. OOOOHHHH that is NICE!! My favorite color combo for the Charger. Beautiful paint and foil. You have my attention.
  15. Thanks for the info guys. There is so much info out there about these cars, i didn't know where to start. Now i do. Thanks Much!!
  16. Any info would be appreciated. The '57 150 sedan is the car type I'm looking at. Shipping weight for this car with manual tranny was 3168 lbs. and with 283 fuelie motor.
  17. According to the tables, and using a 283 and a manual tranny. the Widow would be considered G/S for 1968 Junior stock. I'm not sure how accurate the tables are.
  18. I'm looking at Jr. Stock, about 67- 69 or so.
  19. Thanks for the info. I downloaded the NHRA rules for Jr. Stock from the drag section, but I had a few questions about the 210 fuelie. Since they were a factory build, we good.
  20. I would like to know if the 1957 Chevy 210 Black Widow Would qualify to run with its fuel injection setup in Junior stock drag racing. Was the Widow a factory build, or were 50 offered to the public to homologate it?
  21. Beautiful build Mike!!! The paint color and wheels go perfect together. Love Mopars.
  22. Its supposed to read " Benito Finito", referring to Benito Mussollini of Italy , "Next Hirohito" referring to Emperor Hirohito of Japan. Italy surrendered in 1943, we fought the Japanese till well into late 1945. You may have gotten the decals crossed up a little. Great looking plane Josh!!! one of my favorites.
  23. I want a set of those coconut phones they had. Or at least that cell phone plan. On a deserted desert island, and crystal clear service!!
  24. Yeah!! Icebergs do tend to scuff the paint a bit!! lol!!
