  1. wow..... I was considering ordering one of these too. Glad I didn't now. I had heard on the boards that he was having difficulties filling orders, (understatement), but I had no idea it was THIS bad....
  2. Good to trade with ya Miles!! I still gotta get to the post office later too.
  3. Pleasure trading with you Vince!! Matter of fact you have another one inbound from me.
  4. Same here. I have all kinds of diferent subjects to choose from, its just finding the time and motivation to sit down and actually FINISH a project. I have several stalled projects that wouldn't take much to finish, but they sit collecting dust for lack of time or motivation...
  5. My shocks are still rattling around in the box. I'll have to add those to the list of things i need to finish on this one. Now that the deadline is past, I want to make a few post build off additions. Rear shackles, split bench front seat, Hurst shifter, side mirrors, rear view mirror, slapper bars,.... yeah, I have quite a bit left to do to the little thing before i call it done.
  6. Thanks Ken. Yours too!! I didn't get the engine or exhaust done yet though... I honestly thought about gluing the hood shut to be done with it!!!
  7. Thanks Mike. I tried to build it to look like a high school kids hot rod, built on little or no budget. I tried to keep the funky '70's paint scheme in place.
  8. Welcome Back!!! Lots of good people here to chat with about the hobby.
  9. That looks Fantastic!! I'm a big longroof fan!! Especially nomads.
  10. If that would mean they could stay open another hr or so on weekdays in my area, I'd be fine with it....I think what you mentioned here is actually getting some serious thought in higher circles in the delivery services Harry. I work in shipping and receiving for a living, and its surprising how much USPS gets dumped on UPS for delivery, and Visa-Versa. It wouldn't take much to make the switch.
  11. That would make an interesting long roof.
  12. I read that article too. Yes, its a very interesting read.
  13. I hear ya. Same thing here.
  14. Just completed another smooth trade with vintagedragcrazy (Vince Nelson) First class trader, and great guy to talk plastic with. Trade with confidence with Vince!! A++++
  15. Love the lines of this car!!! I'll be watching this one. Beautiful work sir!! Love the subject matter.
  16. I've got some last minute thrashing to do myself. Got exhaust and engine work to do....
  17. OOOHHHHH I'm likin this!!! Love the paint. More, please!!
  18. Mike. I haven't given up yet!! I'll post pic's of my gremi later on tonight.
  19. Yeah. That was pretty red. I wouldn't waist any more time or energy on him.
  20. X2. 70's British cars are notorious for electrical and carb issues. Still neat little cars though. $1,000 for a car like that. The guy may have done you a favor. It may have taken a lot more than that to make it road worthy again.
  21. Nah. We don't stand on formalities too much around here. Sounds like you have interests in ship kits like I do. Just about ready to pick a fight with a 1/72 Type IXc-40 U-boat for the colder months.
  22. I also spotted your Harley peeking out from behind your gremmi. Those Chromed rims look alot better than the black!!!
