  7. Thanks Tommy, okay, yes I understand, and agree, I think later to cast a spare body to build a hot rod version would be great The DFV Cossie V8 engines were of course legends, I was thinking perhaps to use the DOHC Shelby Mustang engine?
  8. Thanks Tommy, JC & Mark is one of my favorite all time cars also! Thanks JC, you're right, I also have noticed that, the rear wheels are placed slightly forward within the wheel well housing, presumably for clearance of rearward movement during hard cornering or axle deflection? One more detail to help this final result look as correct as possible!
  9. Nicely built, looks great!
  10. Looking great, that engine bay shines!
  11. Far out interior, looking forward to seeing more!
  12. Good start Mike, looking forward to more!
  13. Fitting as we go along building, to ensure proper placement upon assembly Inner fender forms being constructed, filling in tight between bodywork and chassis interior panels Extension of rear under apron to be more accurate to actual car, and begin forming inner rear fender wells Test fitment, looking to proper placement of rear wheel in well, with slight forward bias
  14. Recasting some of the donor kits components into more usable resin, from original rubber & white metal
  15. Very nice work, looks great!!
  16. Great build Brizio! I wish the period transporters for 60's race cars were available in kit form, but sadly not
  17. Similar James, those are not what you ordered, it looks like equal to a 16" diameter of the Cobra S/C wheel? Maybe would work if used as an insert into a billet wheel drum? Got your mail addy in PM, will send you out a copy resin set
  18. Looks great, the paint work is awesome!!
  19. Tons of great workmanship, looking forward to more!!
  20. Looks great, digg'n the stance & colours, very nice!!
  21. Looking sweet Brett, nice work!!
  22. What paint is that used Ken? Sometimes there can be reaction if the body still has residual mold release agent on the surface I like to wash thoroughly with dish soap, then let dry a few days (spare microwave is nice dust free place), then prime coat (Tamiya white primer is ideal) Use Castrol purple degreaser to safely strip the bad paint off Good luck!
  23. What resin are you using? I found alumilite was this way sometimes, and switched to smooth-on 300 series resins, which are MUCH better You can also pre-heat your mold, that helps thinner castings to set faster, also being very exact with your ratio of mix is a factor
  24. Thanks Carl LMK if you see these (above) wheels in scale resin anywhere?
  25. Some wicked cool stuff there, awesome work!!
