  7. Looking good, I remember that show! I also really like that Firebird body style, Nice!
  8. Thanks Dennis, yes the wheels you refer to are the ones used on the eventual production W8 cars, this W2 Vector was the original, and the production cars pattered from it Okay, so back at the work bench! The pre-assembly check looks good, and some other refinements being added, including the oddly shaped interior panels the W2 employed The Vector W2 was undoubtedly inspired in parts by the Countach of that same time period, most notably the scissor style doors
  9. I always like to mix my own accent paint, and mix with the body color to tint, then airbrush along the lightly scribed (just enough to clean them up) panel lines, before painting the body its self
  10. Awesome to see that completed, it looks great Brian!
  11. Thanks Lawrence, I will certainly keep you in mind! I'm waiting to hear back about a kit now, for a reasonable price, I may just have to mold & repop the '79-82 body? Maybe to clean up one, and improve on it slightly, then make a few copies for fellow modelers, would be a good idea?
  12. Lots of great looking builds here, I just looked through all 45 pages (whew) Would love to build a '79 pace car, just like my old car was - a 2.3 turbo with 5 spd with that black/white interior - but the only kit on ebay currently is just 'stupid' asking price
  13. It seems a bit peculiar to us, but it makes more sense in the native Italian tongue, it's expressed as an exclamatory remark in Italian, more than simply "the", it really means more like "The Best" or "The Most" or "The Pinnacle of", etc. That being said, it remains a bit awkward for us to use, something they might not have fully realized in the name selection process I like the car, it's got great style, and loads of high technology has gone into it If you're a styling/design geek like me, here's a thread on Ferrari community forum, which has tons of info and images about it's design and styling evolution http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/288gto-f40-f50-enzo-laferrari/400737-who-designed-laferrari.html
  14. Thanks Tommy & James! Sorry, won't be any updates for little while, have been awake for last couple of days, there have been evacuations here, this flooding is going on in my city right now!

  17. Excellent work Kenn, looking forward to seeing more!!
  18. The bodies you're selling here, do you have a webpage or facebook page for viewing them? Thanks
  19. Looks really good, congrats!! Not sure I'd be impressed today by any of my builds when a kid?!
  20. Some really good models in this thread, all winners IMO I never did really like contest shows, even for 1:1 car shows, to me each car is unique and a different character, and to be enjoyed on that basis IMHO
  21. That's very cool of them! I need a couple of small replacement parts actually
  22. I've only seen them as 1/43 die cast, not as popular here as in Japan, but even then still is a cult following really, Cool car though!
  23. Just reading through the pages, Fantastic work, really great detail, Love it!!
  24. Oh, I should have understood, Thanks! Boy, I really do need to get some sleep!
