I won second row seats on KRLA and managed to shake hands with Darlene! March/April 2006: The great blues singer Linda Hopkins at the Catalina Bar and Grill in Hollywood. My boss was a longtime friend of hers and produced the recording of the shows which became her final album, The Living Legend Live!.
  6. Nice! My mom's side of the family is from Gulfport; the Cassibry and Fillingim families. My mom's cousin James Verrell "Tiger" Fillingim was a stock car racer down there in the '70s and '80s. As for me, I'm up in the CA high desert north of Palm Springs.
