  1. A problem you may have here is that this is a Cycolac promo body rather than styrene, so regular glue may not hold - try using one of the stronger solvent glues (Tenax?). If you do have access to a Ranchero body, you could use it to copy the missing area with two-part mold putty and resin.

  8. I was looking at the '57 (closest available) Ford truck brochure at the Old Car Manual Project, and the wheelbases were listed as 110" and 118" with either 6 1/2' or 8' beds, respectively. Looks like you would have to shorten the wheelbase and front of the bed 8mm, and the rear of the bed 10 mm, to get a correct 6 1/2' shortbed.

  18. Looking at the rear window of the Bel Air hardtop, I've been wanting to cut the glass down to drop the three pieces in from the outside. Then there's the top part of the grille that's missing the horizontal flare, and the flat hubcaps that would be better suited to an '80s S-10 pickup...
