One of my favorite family slides: Mom, our '53 Chevy, and a friendly deer - somewhere in Colorado, 1956:

Wanted to get my mom's metallic blue '50s Kenmore but she gave it to my brother's kids, and they donated it somewhere later. I've had a fair amount of experience sewing Aztec costumes along with the other members of my dance group; the fun part for me was being able to create something without having to wait for paint to dry . I'm looking to get another machine soon (probably a heavy duty non-computerized Singer) so I can at least keep my clothes mended and maybe make a few things.

I had one of these in progress in 1/20 scale long, long ago - combining the IMC Dune Buggy with the Pyro VW kit, of all things. Might be fun to try again if I felt like hacking up rare kits...

And spotted this little cutie in town this morning: "Phone booth" Model A pickup with a Buick nailhead. Local car, I believe. -

Went with my boss to an auction preview on Friday and saw this poor old dog: Complete car with V8 and power brakes; originally white over gold, but very very rusty. Roof, C-pillars and panel below back window were all rotten . Sold the next day - top bid $8000. -

I stopped by the general store in Lucerne Valley today and picked up an Atlantis 1/32 Chevy Nova; been wondering if it would be feasible to use the engine and underhood stuff in a Monogram 1/32 Chevy Malibu police car kit. Anyone else tried this?

I (or somebody) could get a little cottage industry going molding clear red resin taillights for Moebius kits! -

Snip off everything but https://www.ebay.ca/itm/265321178766 and it will still work. Supposedly the rest is tracking cookies?

Dave, would a four-door police/taxi version be something Moebius would consider for this tool, or the '65 Plymouth? -
