  1. Thanks , they take awhile to figure out bit definitely worth the effort when finished. Thanks ..soon I get to dirty it all up Lol with any luck they'll be digging out for awhile!
  2. Outstanding work! I can't imagine busting out 2 full builds at once ..I'm having a hard enough time doing one lol Keep up the progress
  3. Thanks Jim feels good to be working on larger parts awhile lol Thanks Brian this run took awhile getting the spacing right. My first try were too far apart, the next short mockup of 6 bars were too close ..finally they landed on baby bear
  4. Thanks ! Seemed bare without them
  5. Whew I really slacked off on this build ! Guess the squirrels are contagious this year lol I hated the telephone pole mirror mounts, so I replaced them w 030 rod. I'll polish some thumb tacks for spotter mirrors too. Another detail I was sorting out was the cold weather air cleaner plumbing. They have a flex pipe coming off engine going to air cleaner..I found some 12g wire perfect for the purpose. Ill wrap it w tamiya tape later. The squirrels must've messed w my clock, cause the next detail burned a few hrs. I planned to add tire chains early on, and finally got around to them. These still need some adjustments, but look good. Now to feed the furry rats and make the rest
  6. Fantastic work the parts look very smooth too
  7. Glad you chose the unique headlights version
  8. looking forward to your build. Twin steer trucks are so interesting
  9. Did ya add 4 inches to the doors and roof ? Saw Kindig update a Pantera a few episodes ago
  10. Your WINCH looks perfect nestled in the cage..sorry I'm typing this on the line lol Looks like you have space along the side for some chain hangers / binders too !
  11. Spraying hot paints over the rivets ? Hmm unsure, I used tamiya fine white or gray over mine then their same paint . You'll definitely want something of a topcoat thats not terribly thick to avoid covering them up..hence your lacquer plans
  12. That looks fantastic ! Sure does show the enormous size of the dozer lol
  13. These dms look much better w steel hoods imo !
  14. Tough looking little rig ! Good work getting the sleeper cut down, all those rivets and uneven seams really make these swaps alot more work. Good thing archer sells the rivets to replace them if you decide to go that route
  15. Looking forward to your build ! I wanted to build a European truck w trailer tribute to the Bulmer cider plant in England. Ill have to source a resin hood, not much available in kit form
  16. love these mockup photos! they really show the immense size of the carrier
  17. Now thats a Brockway! Great looking mock up
