  1. Wow! Nice build of classic from a sorely missed caster. All it needs is a 3DScaleParts winged goddess hood ornament.
  2. Yes you are sir and very good at it. That thing is just outrageous awesomeness.
  3. Saw these at a local body shop. I recognize the Silver Shadow but can't identify the other 2.
  4. That looks very cool. I like this bike. I did a cafe style version. The kit can be a little challenging with all the flash on just about every part and getting the engine and frame to fit right but overall fun to build. Nice job.
  5. Beautiful, beautiful work. Great save.
  6. I would love to see these in 1/24 or 25 scale kits. Not everyone's cup of tea but I love these things.
  7. I've ordered a few things from 3Dscaleparts. Just recently received these 1/25 scale Kelsey Hayes spokes from him. Good stuff.
  8. Keep it up! Looking forward to the next one.
  9. I love these big boats. Glad you were able to finally tame the beast. The color, big wheels and stance look really good.
  10. Hmmm. I should have a 57 Chevy bumper somewhere. There was a kit that included one and seemed so out of place. Maybe the AMT 49 Merc.
  11. I'm not positive but I believe I have the X-EL, only because it's not a kit, not warped anywhere and it's not friction. It didn't have a box when I bought it. I really need a solution for that fin tip.
  12. Interesting. So I guess 1/32 parts are not an option. I'll post on the Wanted section to see if anyone has a spare rear bumper. One of the fins broke off and fell into the missing parts black hole. I'll try to massage the Revell chassis and see how that goes. I may combine it with a 1960 Impala chassis that has the wheel wells.
  13. Does anyone know what scale the Johan 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood is? I tried to fit a 1/25 Revell chassis to it but it's too big. It may work with some cutting. I also came across a Modelhaus rear bumper but it was too wide to fit and made differently than the promo. Would the Revell or Gunze 1/32 be a better fit or would they be too small? Thanks
  14. Are there any resin casters or 3D printers that can make sets of the side mirrors Cadillac used from roughly '68 - '91? The ones that are included in the Revell lowrider kit. I have 4 builds that could each use a set.
  15. That kit is going for around $40 when you can find it. Seems a lot to pay for a grill. The kit can be built with the included '48 Olds grill but a '48 Ford is not on top of my list of cars to build. It would be nice if someone could resin cast or 3D print a proper Caddy grill.
  16. This is the Lindberg 61 so the tunnel may need to be modified either way. I ordered the Powerglide and the 700R4. Hopefully one of these shouldn't need much modification.
  17. Hi all. I'm going to put an LS1 engine from the Revell 1999 Corvette in a '61 Impala. Any suggestions on what transmission would make sense and the best place to source one? Thanks
  18. 1/16 scale MPC Honda CB77 done in a sort of Cafe racer style. Modifications include clear cast headlight lens, handlebars bent down slightly, seat from a Yamaha racer, shortened front and rear fenders, scratch built shocks, 1/25 scale resin K&N style air filters and wiring. The exhaust pipes are wrapped with exhaust tape and the mufflers were shortened and hollowed out. Headlight, tank, seat and pipes are covered in sanded BMF to replicate bare metal. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
