Thanks Brian. Looks like I may be able to use the chassis as well. -

This is the engine that was in a built 1961 Mercury Monterey I bought on the bay. In all of my research I have not seen an air cleaner/carb set up like this. I'd like to convert the engine to a Ford 352 as found in the '61 Monterey. Is there a readily available kit that includes a nice example of a 352 or any suggestions on how to convert this engine? Thanks

How about a shade of brown like a saddle. Maybe with black accents. The Foose seats are more orange than brown. -

Another beautiful Cad. Keep them coming. -
Nice work. Is that caddy a 1970?

I have a few 60's - 70's Cadillac projects on the bench that I would like to add side mirrors to. I know these mirrors can be found in the Revell lowrider kit but I can't see spending $50 or more for 1 set of mirrors and then have a $50 kit with no mirrors. Is there anyone who has mastered 3D printing that would be willing/able to print a few sets of these in 1/25 scale?

This Johan promo was pretty badly warped. I was able to get most of the body straightened out using the hot/cold water technique. The interior was beyond repair so I substituted one from a '59 Caddy sedan. The friction chassis was replaced with one from a '58 Chevy, extended to fit the Caddy wheelbase. Suspension lowered and hubcaps are '64 Caddy. Paint is Tamiya Champagne Gold.

Beautifully done. I've been sitting on this kit for some time trying to figure out how to hot rod it but after seeing your build I'm having second thoughts. Maybe stock is the only way to go. Very very nice. -
