  1. Nice idea but as you said, may be more trouble than it's worth, or more like more time and effort than I'm willing and able to put in to it.
  2. Got some color on the interior but I need to do a bit of touch up. Does anyone know a good way to do a wash on white? I want to bring out the detail of the seats. Maybe white with a touch of gray and a little more gray where the seat back meets the seat bottom?
  3. I stopped by my local HL and saw this Honda CB77 marked down to $6.74. It's 1/16 scale (not many bikes in that scale) and I haven't built a bike in decades but at that price I couldn't pass it up. As a matter of fact I may get a couple more. I'm going to try for a cafe, bobber, brat sort of build.
  4. That's a, I say that's a really cool build son.
  5. Lol. And he probably doesn't care about getting paint on his hands or finger prints in the paint either.
  6. This one will have a boot. I'm using Barry Wolk's 56 as inspiration.
  7. Thanks Bill. Good luck finding one that's not warped. This has a slight sink in the hood but I think I'll let it slide. The wheels and tires are from the Foose Cadillac. They resemble the stock wheels a bit. Still deciding if I'll use them or the stockers. For now it's sitting on a 57 Ford frame.
  8. Since it will be topless I added some detail to the interior. I removed the front seat and added padding to the back of it. Also added piping to the front and rear seats.
  9. Currently on the workbench is a 56-57 Continental (don't call it a Lincoln) Mark II friction promo. Since the roof was warped I decided to make it into a convertible.
  10. Oh snap. I was just thing about that the other day. Looks great so far!
  11. That's different. I like how you got the rear window to line up with the trunk.
  12. Looks great already and you're no where near finished.
  13. Nice work. The seats in these old Johan caddies do need some attention. I did something similar to what you've done on a 1970 Coupe DeVille. I also added piping to the seats and headrests. I'm watching this build.
  14. Saw this on the road recently. And apparently he can hook you up too.
  15. Try contacting jpscustomsmctwheels. He makes some killer wheels. He has a website and is on Instagram/Facebook too.
  16. Outstanding! Especially the color choice and paint job.
  17. A while back I stumbled on to a YouTube video where some guys found one of those trailers sitting in a field or something. I thought it would make a great model project but not one I would take on. Then I saw your build thread and was glad you decided to do it. Came out great. ??
  18. Had to laugh out loud when I saw this. Even the wife likes it. Nice work.
