thanks guys, was a nice build other than the mirrors, they seem to hit everything, lol.

figured i would re post this as i don't think i made a seperate thread for it before. i used Double Take Replicas wheels and tires, stripped almost all the chrome and tried to give it more of a work truck look fresh from the factory. fun build, hope you like it.

picked it up last night, has all the correct parts in it

i caught the clearance sale a few weeks ago in my area, got more stuff i didn't need, lol. Mike, must be a nationwide thing, cause no matter what changes, those WF DD kits are always there where i go..........

called my local HL today, they have one kit in stock, i asked if they would hold it for me and to my suprise they said yes so i will be heading there after work today

it's such a shame the interior is almost invisible once installed, the kit has such a nicely detailed interior.

that's a nice kit that builds up well. only tricky part for me was dash detail and trying to BMF the trim on top of the fenders/doors/quarter panels. other than that, fun build.

i figure i am 'average', and i like to collect as well [better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it], plus there is just so much cool subject matter out there. i like to build oob with minor changes, like wheels/tires, as most of the builds i do now are kits i ruined as a kid and the box art of those kits is what drew me in in the first place. either way, i am having fun when i build, and i am usually happy with the results.
