thanks all, i remember building a version of this kit when i was a kid around 1979 or so, i think i did better this time Bob, gave the boot to a buddy of mine for one of his projects.

well, after a whole lot of doing nothing to this build [while building a dozen or so other kits], i figured it was time to get back at it. not a whole lot to report, but we have part of a small block going together hope to really focus on this build for awhile, need to get it off the bench before i get distracted again.....

got this one off the bench finally. foil work on this one kicked my butt, think i have a 'dud' sheet of foil, foil work is usually a breeze, but not on this one. pic's are dark due to no sun today, but the color is GM 'limited addiction red', looks dynamite in the sun. i used some parts pack blue streaks on the rear.

that's pretty cool, looks like a central NY car

so, this has been hanging around for what seems like forever, so i decided to button it up this week [along with some other projects]. i kit bashed it with a revell 67 chevelle pro street kit. not a lot of added detail, was just shooting for an 80's vibe. panther pink and sublime green, decals from a buddies parts bin for the body and the interior. it's a great two footer

thanks guys Jeff, yes, those are marker lights, and yes, i totally forgot to do anything with them, every time i looked at the hood, i kept thinking i had to do something about those and never did..........i still have to do some touch up here and there, so when i get to that i will fix those

the one i built was an original release and was pretty 'clean' , i have two of the latest reissue, but haven't opened them up to see how they look.
