  4. wow, fantastic work all the way around, just incredible. well done sir.
  5. Cool! With some work, this builds a good looking truck. The hoods on these sure are funky though.
  6. Glad to be able to help out, that's why we are all here, share what we know and help each other to build the best we can. I have certainly gotten a lot of help here, so I am more than willing to pass on what little knowledge I have if it helps others.
  7. yes indeed, your inspiration truck is drop dead cool! look forward to seeing this come together.
  8. Joe, looking great man! engine is looking good so far, and I like the scoop as well.
  9. Kevin, looking great so far, paint work is awesome! question though, should the front side marker light/lens be red or amber? in the pic it looks red, I am thinking it should be yellow/amber.......but I could be wrong.

Ken, have you built anything that isn't absolutely gorgeous? another beauty in you collection, great looking build.
  11. beautiful! another stunning build for your collection.
  12. Fred, terrific build! whole build just looks 'right', hopped up, but not overdone. fabulous!
  13. thank you everyone, was quite the project [and still not done]. Ken, ya know what, when I was building these I kept looking at the 'hose clamps' wanting to do something with them, and after posting the pictures, they caught my eye again, and again I though, 'gee, I really need to do something with those'. looks like when I get a few minutes, I will paint them, I also need to put plates on 2 more of them, they are wearing '69 vintage NY plates.
  14. got another KW K123, have 2 mack dm's ordered and two smooth side trailers ordered [both were pre orders, hope to get them soon] and I ordered a big boy 16th scale KW today
  15. nice build. I just recently picked up one of these, glad to see it builds into a good looking model.
  16. that is a fantastic looking model, well done.
  17. and my favorite, thanks for looking.
  18. This all started as simple idea, but took 4 months to complete the cars, the rig and car hauler trailer are still under construction in the trucks section. The cars are all the Baldwin Motion kit from Revell, I used PE sets, plug wire and flocking from 'The Model Car Garage', heater hoses, alternator brackets, wire looms and speaker grills from 'Detail Masters'. Paint is a mixture of GM spray touch up paint and testors lacquer finishes. GM Crystal red tint metallic, GM Luxo blue metallic, testors Nassau blue, testors hugger orange, testors graphite dust, GM Green O'clock metallic. continued..
  19. Man that's sweet! Great looking rig!
  20. I like it! Now, on to the hounding, lol, need to see more of this......
  21. Great idea with the tire stuffing, revell kits would really benefit from this as they are some soft tires.
